Absolutely awful customer service from the lady working here today. Told me I had to tape up my box and handed me a roll of tape, I taped it up and then she charges me $4 for the tape roll… I never knew I was buying the whole tape roll nor did she tell me that when she handed it over. She insisted I take the roll and I told her that I didn’t know I was buying the roll and if I did I would’ve just left and taped it myself. I left the roll for her to play her little game again!

I brought a letter that was already filled out and stamped, as well as a package. I have not mailed a package in years, so I asked the attendant what I needed to do. She LAUGHED IN MY FACE, and said, “You’ve never mailed a letter before, have you?” She asked this THREE times throughout the transaction. All three times I responded, “No, so I need your help.” She pointed to bunch of papers and said, “There are the templates.” I asked which one because there were so many, and I don’t know what I need. She said, “I am not coming out from behind this counter to help you.” And WALKED AWAY TO THE BACK ROOM. I just wanted help. I was also here last month and asked for help addressing a letter, and that attendant laughed in my face too. This was so embarrassing and humiliating for just needing help…

This USPS branch is rarely open during its posted hours. I've been here two days in a row after 10 am, and the store is not open.

It seems that EVERY Monday no one is there!
The last Monday I went there (Dec. 30, 2024) no one was there AGAIN. I took a breath and returned on Tuesday afternoon. NO ONE was there again! No note, no explanation.
If you're reading this, D&W on 28th St. will take care of your mail.

Came here to mail a package and the hours said they were open. You can walk up, but the gate is down and no one is working. If you’re not staffing this location, change your posted hours!!

Update: literally got charged $50 for not sending the package in time because of this post office. You couldn’t pay me to use them ever again.

very surprised the average review is 2.8 since they're never open.
as a shipping manager of a company that depends on shipping 100%, that would not be the place to drop the packages off. Staff always look like they don't want to be there, hours of operation are set according to if they want to work or not. Right now is 10:20am and they were supposed to be open and there's absolutely nobody in the facility. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else.
