Severely understaffed in the mornings until shortly before noon. Had to wait an hour just to do a 2 minute pickup. Full staff showed up at that time and took care of the backlog of people.

The representatives that I have encountered at this store are incompetent. This time it was Lex and Lewis. I understand it’s just a job to them, but their lack of knowledge and inability to assist customers is astonishing. I would recommend driving the extra distance to the Verizon corporate store in Lansing, MI where the employees are courteous and knowledgeable.

I stopped into the Verizon store this afternoon to get help with my account that Verizon Verizon messed up. We were put on a waiting list, they told us it would be 10 to 15 minutes 36 minutes later. We asked how things were moving along and they looked at us straight faced and said it’s only been 36 minutes that you’ve been waiting, and proceeded to ignore us. Verizon screwed up our bill royally, this is our fourth trip in to try and get it straightened out. We saw people come in get taken care of and leave as we sat there and sat there. We have been customers for for over 25 years, this is unacceptable. We are beyond disappointed.. We ended up walking out thoroughly disgusted with nothing being resolved beyond unhappy customer here.

Went in to Verizon @ 2605 E. Beltline in Kentwood today for the forth time about the same issue. Waited over 35 min. People kept getting helped before us that came in after us. We asked when we would be helped and the girl said ‘it’s only been 28 min.’ Got a text saying we were next in line still waited another 23 min. No one helped us and we left with no resolution. I have been with Verizon for over 25 years and literally cant’t get anyone to help or answer a phone. The chat was useless and I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed.
Apparently if you come in and say you are “changing” phone providers from a competing cell co. you are helped immediately but long time customers are not important to help or a priority.

I’ve had Verizon my whole life since I was a kid. Service is ok and it’s relatively cheap. Worst customer service I’ve ever had with any company though. Went to go get the new iPhones this week. I had spoken with 2 different sales reps and was told about $150 mo for 2 lines with the phone upgrades. Go to get the phones and he says it’ll be $80 more per month than I was told and I have to wait to order the phone that they told me was in the back. Just tired of the lies. Customer service got me taken care of so my problem isn’t with Verizon, it’s with this location. My last phone the same guy said it would be $100 a month and I asked detailed questions to make sure it was truly $100mo. He assured me it was and that he’d help me if I ever needed anything. Got my first bill at $450mo because they lost my trade in. Have 3 months of fighting with them finally got them to agree they had the phone since tracking proved they received it. Never got the extra money back and my true payment was $170mo. 70% more than I was told. Never going back to that location. Don’t recommend it to anyone. They’ll just lie to you and trick you into a more expensive phone plan.

As an existing Verizon customer, I visited this store after a frustrating experience at the Apple Store regarding the battery life on your IPhone SE. After a short wait, Charles approached me and carefully listened to my issue. He immediately acknowledged my stated desire not to buy a “new phone” as Apple had pushed. He looked through my settings and made some VERY astute observations and modified some settings with my permission. I am happy to report these changes were effective and I am one VERY satisfied customer. Thank you CHARLES!

Avoid the Beltline store. We spent 8 hours over the course of two days with staff and managers for an IPhone upgrade and 3 Apple Watch upgrades. None of the staff nor managers were able to complete the work. The store on Kalamazoo and M-6 completed the work in 1 hour. The gentleman sitting next to use at the Beltline store said he had the same experience as us. No one was able to fix his IPhone problem at the Beltline store over the course of 3 days.

This place stinks. They care less if you have their service. Customer service is awful and they literally try to charge $30 to “transfer” information to your new $1000 phone… just say things like FCC fees and what not… I miss the days of landlines. Zero help just trying to get to the next person and make you feel like you are bothering them.

I went in to purchase one accessory for my phone. There were three associates in the building and no one acknowledged me in any way. I located the item I was looking for and sat down waiting for an available associate. I was sitting for over 10 minutes without being addressed by any of the associates. I returned my accessory to the location I picked it up from and left the building without making a purchase. Poor customer service and poor efficiency when handling their guests. Very disappointing.

Came in over an hour before they closed. I was not helped until after they closed, and then I was turned away because they couldn't help me. All due to a pending order on my account, and they have no way to remove those without calling into support which was closed.
Update: came back the next morning. They were very apologetic and got everything situated right away. Verizon sucks but this place is alright.

I had been having trouble with my text messages for a week. I had been on the phone with Verizon and Apple and they could not help me correct the issue. I went in to the store and the manager and a trainee(I wish I remembered their names) helped to get my texts working again. I could not be more pleased with the support I got from them!!!

This seemingly is the only Verizon store with competent and caring employees. They helped us solved a months long issue with our account and billing. The managers there were amazing. They deserve a bonus for how helpful and diligent they were during this process.
