Fred and Gina Bivens host Vinecroft Studios. It is a wonderful "third place" establishment, meaning it is a meaningful place where people hang out away from home and work. It's a real community.
While it is Fred's wood and print workshop, and the place he keeps all the old typewriters and other stuff he collects; it is also where the couple host and nurture community. I'll tell you about the bit I know about. The couple hosts meetings of West Michigan Artists for the Festival of Arts, many artists are given the opportunity to sell their handmade and homemade goods to others during holidays, and every Tuesday they host a community dinner made by others in the community and paid for by the community. People's major events are honored with celebration, support, and loving kindness. You are held in love by every person in the community. It is an amazing place.

Really talented artisans that make cool and unique items from beautifully carved wooden ornaments and bowls to high end knitted hats and quilts. Very cool yearly stop for anyone looking for a one of a kind Christmas gift.

I visited a Christmas market and they had a wonderful mix of local artisans selling there wares there. It was very nice to be able to talk to creators and ask any questions. I will definitely be going back again next Christmas.

This place is awesome. Fred Bivins owns this facility, he is an incredible craftsman and woodworker, one of the few Renaissance men left in this world. Fred hosts a gallery once a year with a handful of local talented artists that is open to public with great art for sale. If you can afford one of Fred's quality crafted bowls I would encourage the purchase, they are really cool.
