Terrible customer service at the pharmacy. There always seems to be a long wait even if there is a short line. What's worse is they close for lunch at 1:30 . Clearly they don't have enough employees to properly staff the pharmacy.

DO NOT GO TO WALGREENS!!!!!!! Hands down WORST experience ever at a pharmacy, every single month!!! My dad is severely sick, and I every time he has a refill needed, Walgreens never has the right prescription, always blames his doctors. The doctors always say that it’s right on their end. I have to spend 3-4 hrs a few times a month calling different doctors, and calling back to the pharmacy. Then it’ll take another 2-3 days for Walgreens to get the prescription, and they just tell me they don’t what’s going on, it’s just “stuck in their” systems. The doctors don’t understand why they can’t see the prescription they sent in days ago, and Walgreens just shrugs their shoulders, and says I don’t know, I can’t help you. You will just have to wait until it hits our system. Then I ask how long that might be, and they say they have no idea, but will call me when it does. My father gets very sick without his medication and it takes another week for him to start feeling better after he starts taking it again. This is a EVERY MONTH occurrence, since we were switched from Rite Aid, 3 months ago. We were at Rite Aid for years and had ZERO issues 100% of the time. This whole situation has been a complete nightmare!! If you need your medications, I strongly suggest DO NOT GO TO WALGREENS. I just talk to supervisor about this, it was obvious that she could care less and said there is nothing she can do. I asked if she can approve a small amount to get h in through the weekend so he doesn’t get sick, and she said no. I told her Rite Aid was able to do that at the pharmacist’s discretion. She said than that was done illegal. HOWEVER, the first month we were here, has the same exact problem happen (I thought bc we were new customers) and the pharmacist at WALGREENS was able to approve a weekend dose for him to get through the weekend. So I’m assuming the supervisor did not like me because I wasn’t happy about this happening for the 3rd month in a row, the only 3 months we have been customers. She was rude, offered no help. When I asked for a corporate number, she told me the only number we have is 1800 Walgreens, try that I guess. 🤷🏼♀️

I was a customer of CVS for many many years!
The poor customer service and voicemail system caused me to switch all my prescriptions to Walgreens. Excellent customer service, why is my review accurate, I have been in the retail customer service industry for over 47 years. Great Job you guys!!

Pharmacy is fast, very knowledgeable and all staff are very friendly . Store is well stocked and prices are affordable.

Purchase a pair of readers from Walgreens on Northland drive.About 3 months ago a screw came out.I went back to Walgreens to exchange for a different pair and the manager would not approve the return. Poor customer service. the pharmacy also has poor service.this happens when hired a kid for manager. Go to family fare across the road fast friendly service

This is for the store on BELTINE AND PLAINFIELD ave, in Plainfield township-The store is managed by incompetent people.I’ve been using this Walgreens for 33 years‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️. UNTIL I WAS LITERALLY KICKED OUT!I purchased photos and the girl handed me the photos then walked away. I asked her why she didn’t ring me up and with a snotty attitude said that she would. I told her nevermind and tried to find the manager. She apparently found him before I did with a totally different story and I tried telling him what happened. He cut me off and said I’m being disruptive then TOLD ME TO LEAVE THE STORE!!!!I called the corporate office and no one from corporate called me back.I WILL NEVER SHOP AT A STORE THAT DISRESPECTS THEIR CUSTOMERS. I’M 66 years old and have never been treated this horrible. CUSTOMERS DO NOT MATTER AT THE WALGREENS ON BELTINE AND PLAINFIELD. GRAND RAPIDS.I HAVE TOLD ALL MY FRIENDS TO STAY AWAY FROM SHOPPING IN THAT STORE.THAT MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED‼️‼️‼️‼️

Had a very positive post Christmas holiday experience. The pharmacist went above and beyond to help fill a prescription for my son and was proactive in calling me back even though he was very busy. Thank you!

AVOID!!! THIS Walgreens location. Very busy by proximity only. Told over the phone script would be ready in an hour. When arrive was then told they didn't have the medication and it wouldn't be available for two days because the had to order. Pharmacist on duty didn't engage me. You have choices. Have your medical professionals send your script some where else.

About 1 out of 3 trips here ends with a bad experience, and they've made errors filling my prescriptions. Staff is hit and miss - some are nice and helpful but others treat customers like nuisances to be dealt with. Poorly managed.

Wait times are consistently ridiculous.
