I am beyond frustrated with my experience at Lowe's today and the complete lack of resolution and competence from their staff.
My father and I first visited Cabela's to look at grills, and the service there was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our experience at Lowe's was the complete opposite. We went there to look at grills and were assisted by a friendly and insightful lady. We purchased a grill and a gazebo, planning to pick them up later as our Jeep couldn't fit them. The lady took all our information processed it, gave us a receipt and assured us we could pick up the order later in the day.
When we returned home after shopping at Meijer for some meat to grill and now using the truck, we realized we had left the card we used for the purchase at home. We brought our receipt and all other information, thinking it would be sufficient. However, upon returning to Lowe's and heading to the pickup section as instructed, we were met with immediate rudeness. A guy redirected us to an online pickup tablet without even listening to us. The tablet had an error, and another employee pointed us back to the original place, which was highly annoying.
We handed our receipt to the lady, who told us to park outside. As soon as we did, the same rude guy told us there was an error and we needed to park elsewhere until they sorted it out. The initial staff member had placed the order incorrectly, and they needed to cancel and redo the transaction.
We asked if we could still use the card we had initially paid with, despite not having it with us, as they should have the information. Initially, we got a yes, but a few minutes later, it turned into a no. This flip-flopping was frustrating, and the staff was very rude about it. Going back home for the card would have been a huge inconvenience.
My father, understandably upset, asked why we were told one thing and then another. The staff's explanations were unclear and inconsistent. When my father swore out of frustration at the situation (not at the staff), the lady reacted as if we had insulted her personally. We asked for a manager, hoping to resolve the issue.
When the manager arrived, the staff misrepresented the situation, claiming my father cursed at them. Another lead staff member stepped in, not allowing us to speak directly to the manager, and repeatedly said there was nothing they could do. They suggested we either buy it again or leave, and scolded us about not swearing at the staff.
The manager did nothing to acknowledge that the problem was due to their staff's lack of training and competence. We had to use my card instead, which was not what we wanted. When we got home, we found the grill improperly assembled and the gazebo missing parts because it was the last one and had to be dismantled for loading.
This experience was horrendous from start to finish, and I will never return to this Lowe's store. The lack of proper customer service, rude staff, and overall incompetence are unacceptable.

We have visited this location a few times now and no one seems to help. The other locations have employees asking everyone if they need help but this one always seems lacking. I would suggest visiting another hardware store if you expect some customer service. They also had wrongly listed price tags for items they set up on display.

Just had a very poor experience. Extremely disappointing and left very dissatisfied. My husband and I went in to get a new dishwasher, then the older salesman who helped us gave us the complete run around and told us one thing that was absolutely incorrect and we ended up spending way more money than we explicitly told him we wanted to. He told us that we would be part of this “huge twice a year sale” and the “install would be free if we bought in store not online” and all this stuff then literally a second after I swiped my Lowe’s credit card he tells me he “wants me to see the screen” which was the total for the transaction I had already paid for… which was definitely not the amount we had discussed. He waited, conveniently for him, to tell us AFTER we had paid… that the “huge savings and money off and free install” all comes to us 6-8 weeks from now via a lowes gift card… which also can’t be taken off meh lowes credit card balance. All of this left mg husband and I feeling extremely taken advantage of and lied to. Were very upset.

Purchased a airless sprayer and when I went to used it for the 1st time a week after purchase and the sprayer has a problem. I wanted to exchange it for another airless sprayer and was then told that the return or exchange policy is 48 hours from purchase. What I joke, I think I will take my business to Home Depot or Menards or Ace Hardware. Thanks for showing your true colors.

This is my Go-to home improvement store since the Menards is a bit of a drive for quick repair stuff... I'm becoming a fan of the Kobalt tools with Sears slowly dying of poor management... Decent hand tools at a fair price...

I’m torn in my review as Taylor in the Pro shop is awesome and knows her stuff however, upon my 4 times to the store she was the only one that could ever help me (again, she was only one that knew how to do her job). I had placed a special order, items came damaged- I had to purchase new ones then wait another week for them to be delivered and the damaged returned for them to refund me. THEN product came and not enough and some wrong color. I went to the store, they could do the return but not help in having the correct color sent. Next day I called and spoke to Taylor, she knew I was frustrated, she ordered my items and now it was going to be another 12 days till they could be delivered!! (Mind you my builder is not happy as this is putting him behind as well). I get the call my items would arrive yesterday between 8-12 and guess what…no items delivered. I called and spoke to the assistant manager he said they are not even showing that they got to the store yet, and that it shouldn’t have taken this long. Then he said he would do some checking and call me back. NEVER received a call back. Therefore, sent an email to Taylor, She reached out to the vendor and apparently they forgot to send them on the truck. It is going to be another four days before they will have them. In the meantime, my deck is not safe and I’m supposed to have children over tomorrow for a pool party. This is a project that should’ve been completed a month ago, but due to not having the correct supplies I am still waiting. Extremely frustrated and not happy with Lowe’s. I’ve been apologized to multiple times, but sadly that is just not cutting it anymore. I’ve tried to call the phone number that is listed with these reviews prior to posting this, to be told the wait time is 20 to 30 minutes I don’t have any more time to waste with Lowe’s.

Wanted to buy a deck from here, but the guy at pro services is terrible! Went to Menards 10 minutes and $$$$ later were all set! Lowe’s just became an emergency only store! Bye ?
