We have spent many thousands of dollars at this store. Most recently, we purchased a dryer and only used the Lowe's credit card to save 5% and were going to pay it off immediately. We did just that and we found out they didn't apply it correctly and said they would fix it. We went through this process 3 times. By the end of it, they said they cannot apply our huge over payment for the month to that transaction until the transactions that had fixed payments were paid off first. So, now we are forced to pay interest on a dryer for years, until the other items are paid off first. Our minimum payment is supposed to be $135/month. We pay at least $400-500/month, but the last month we paid over $1500, and were told it would apply how we asked. Our last resort was to ask the Lowe's store to return the dryer (not physically return it, just return it in the system so we can pay with our debit card) and this was only 3 weeks after purchasing the dryer. They were going to look into it and get back to us. They NEVER GOT BACK TO US and now it's been over 30 days since the transaction and there's nothing we can do. We will never come to Lowe's again and will use other building stores. We are so frustrated that we got screwed over! As if they don't already make enough money off of us.

My first time doing a DIY shelving. I decided to go to Lowe' and as i was looking around feeling lost, I instantly greeted by Kyle. He was super helpful and made great recommendations on what I'd need for shelving. Once done with the wood selections, Kyle made sure I connected with Braydn, whom continued helping me with cutting the woods. Thank you both for providing excellent services!

DANGEROUS appliance installs!Ordered a brand new washer and dryer with install.Crew 1 (delivery): Didn't bother to install the dryer exhaust hose at all.Crew 2: Installed the hose with a hole at the connection between the flexible hose and rigid vent evident by a whistling sound on the first test which the crew didn't bother with. When I went out to the truck and showed them this picture they handed me "heavy tape" which of course didn't work.Crew 3: TBDHad a similar problem with Home Depot. Apparently shady installers are the norm with big box stores.BUY FROM A LOCAL STORE! Learn from my mistake.

Been on hold for a manager for over 45 minutes, and then they hung up on me. Called back again and no manager has time to talk to me. I bought a washer mid September, spent over 900.00 on sale. It lasted a little over two months and now completely dead, doesn't even get power. Called lowes, said not their problem. It's now the manufacturer problem. Maytag had repair people out twice and canceled our most recent appointment to get it fixed. Been without washer for over a month and lowes couldn't care less. How can you sell to the consumer and not even remotely care about the products you sell them???Spent over two hours on the phone for help and received not one once of help. Calling local news for help with shady company and their practices. Lowes responds back to my review. I did what they asked, on hold forever, once again! They have to know who i need to talk with, i have no idea, just another huge disappointment, What a shame.

Normally not working in Grand rapids area I've never been to this Lowe's. I was here three times in two days, each time store is staffed to the max but no one can help check you out. I sat at the pros desk for 5 minutes with employees everywhere and no one asked to help check me out, there were no lights on at any registers, I brought all my oversized lumber down to the self checkout where there was no register lights on also. After asking an employee how to check out with such large material, he said the pro's desk can do it. After walking all the way back down to the other side of the store, the gentleman said his register was open even though he never said anything to me While i was waiting previously, then he said his light was out on his register. You work at a home improvement store and you can't find a light bulb?Worst customer service and employees I've seen in a long time. All time low for Lowe's.

If I could give zero stars I would. When attempting to give Lowes a 2nd chance for a carpet installation after a previous debacle and informing them of this.. the "kid" on the phone literally told me "well maybe you should just call somebody else" and hung up! Really? This is how you treat your customers? Well I did just that and went to their competitor! However I called management to complain... never heard back. Will never again use Lowe's for any installation jobs and have spread the word to anyone looking for a recommendation since I'm in the interior design industry! Really pathetic service!
