On February 10th 2024 my mother bought me a couple things from Sally's. She asked if I could return it and she was told no problem. I tried to return it, unopened and wit a receipt and was told without an account I couldn't return it. No account was used to purchase it. I asked if I made an account right now, I could return it. She said yes but I can't guarantee you'll get the full amount? My mother was also called an old lady when she called.

I was looking to bleach and dye my hair. The employee, I don't remember his name, was super nice and helpful. A manager also came over to answer a question and was also very helpful. The products they helped find worked great!

Hi I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I am the new General Manager of the Grandville location. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and have been a Licensed cosmetologist for 12 years. I am so excited and happy to join the team. Manager of this store is pushy and brash. She is attentive to customers, but not helpful and has an overbearing personality. I will go to another store just to avoid this Manager. On several occasions she has vented about how terrible Sally Beauty Management & workers are, totally unprofessional.

I went in there thinking I knew what all I needed after watching a YouTube tutorial. Lol. I didn't get her name but the manager was so helpful!!!! I appreciate her tips so much. She was so kind and recommended all the products I needed. Here is the final product!

By far my favorite Sally's to go to! Had a fun and informative conversation with whom I think was the manager. She definitely helped me get what I needed to do what invisioned for my hair.

I often come here for my hair supply needs and most of the time know exactly what I need so I typically do not need help from the employees. I would say 4/5 visits I do find the workers to be somewhat rude. I feel as though they speak to me in a very condescending tone and make me feel like I am stupid which I don't appreciate. I leave feeling a little upset a lot of times.

The women working there was so incredibly rude. She was quite literally yelling at me telling me what to get when I have never gotten any of the products she mentioned. She also told me I needed three bottles of hair dye when my hair is as long as my shoulders. When I checked out I went to put in my mothers phone number because I do not have my own rewards and she refused to let me use it and was extremely mean about it. The women gave me so much anxiety and provided a terrible experience in the store. If I ever go back and see that she is the one working I doubt I will even enter.

The blonde guy in front is super rude ! I did not appreciate him at all , his tone and his whole vibe was just plain disrespectful , if it wasn’t for me needing what I came in here to get and it being so hard to find I wouldn’t have even bought it because of him !

I went in there and needed major help with getting my hair and some extensions closer to the same color. Recently I have been absolutely hating my hair just because I didn’t have the products my hair type needs. (This bleach journey has been a roller coaster) I don’t remember names but this wonderful lady helped me find what I needed and my hair is fantastic now after some toner and some fabulous shampoo and conditioner. She really knows what she’s doing (or maybe I’m just clueless?) but I thank her so much!

Maybe it was just a bad coincidence day of being discrimated against for whatever reason. But, I'm looking at bleach. Reading labels, putting things back, grabbing them again. Obviously in need of help. An employee was talking with someone. Walked right past me in the bleach isle, looked at me, and asked someone else if they needed help.Went to check out, and stood there for about 5 minutes. The girl was doing something behind the counter.Just because someone doesn't look like they have money, doesn't mean they don't. I went to another beauty store, got my supplies, and spent around $150.Two stores lost out on a lot of money this day because apparently I wasn't worth their time.

Yikes, just left this location and I felt horrible for an older lady that was shopping. I would I assume the blue haired person is the manager- what horrible costumer service. The lady was asking normal questions and they were SO rude to her.. I used to work at this location and will never come back here. I'd rather drive a little further and bring my business to the next one.... I know times are tough, but being kind is NOT.
