I certainly don't do review because is not my thing. But after experiencing so many negative things with this branch in Grant Michigan, I thought that it will help others by sharing my experience. I am not from this state but I have a small business in Grant Michigan, I honestly trusted a person from the area her recommendation to have a relationship with this bank. Everything started good as partnership with incorrect person I trusted at the beginning of opening the business and be connected to this bank, but after my partner got out of this business, CHOICEONE BANK started giving me a lot of issues. Now they decided to close my account because they went based on other people stories from that small town, which is very unprofessional from their end. I have all documents in order and everything legal. I shared with the bank all documents required but they still accused me for not being cooperative with them. I have proof of all that. This is a corporation that is administered by very unprofessional people because they go based on verbal stories from others instead of proofs. I spoke to Sherri from BSA department and together with Mindy the Manager from the branch and also Collen i think I misspelled his name.. but yes, they all together decided to close all of my accounts without giving time to fly over to Michigan and enroll into another bank. Unfortunately this bank has been the worst one I've worked with. I will never come back to this bank again. I do not recommend this bank at all.

This is not just about this location this is about the bank as a whole. I have had multiple problems with getting notifications or contacted about anything I have fixed it multiple times and it took me months to finally get it working properly. After that I signed up for the e statement stuff so I would not get a paper statement and since I have signed up for the e statement stuff they have consistently still removed the money out of my account for the paper statement and I have contacted multiple people about it. On top of all of that my bank account keeps getting closed because of the charge that I am not even supposed to be getting charged for of $3 makes me going to the negative and when I go to add money into my account they have already Frozen it this is happened multiple times this is absolutely the worst banking experience I have ever had.

Are the ATMs manufactured by the same company that makes McDonald’s ice cream machines? They seem to be down more than they’re up which is a major inconvenience when you’re unable to access your money before the bank opens.

We stopped by the drive-thru around 5 pm and were warmly greeted by a young lady. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. Even if I hadn't been banking here for almost 20 years, I would probably feel inclined to do so. Choice One Bank, small-town charm, big-city professionalism. Keep up the great work!
