Awesome, helpful staff that have done nothing but go above and beyond to help me with any issues that have came about! I used Walgreens for years and wish I would have saved myself all the aggravation of going without my meds because Walgreens never had my medication in stock (exact same one for years) when they did get or have it I would have to waite sometimes another 24 hours before it was ready even though i already waited a week for the medication to be delivered to the store! Family Fare treats me with dignity and respect and I truly appreciate you all and all your hard work, keep pushing on! ?

On 09/07/2023 at 2:18PM (13:18hrs) I sent my retarded wife into the store. I told her she could buy a scratch off lottery ticket for $5 so she ordered a Fab 4 in bin number 23. But Eileen at the courtesy desk gave her a $30 ticket and dismissed my wife when she tried to tell her that she gave her the wrong ticket. So I paid 25 extra dollars because Eileen couldn't properly serve a retarded person. Eileen was in too much of a hurry to listen to my retarded wife when she protested the purchase of the ticket. Now I'm out $25 I didn't intend to spend today. I'm pissed. More than disappointed.

Josh was Super kind ,extremely patient with me and helped calmmy.frustrationgreatly! They'll definitely be keeping buisness from this point on!

The four stars I give the Grayling store must be taken in context. This is a Northern Michigan town where people come to visit for fishing, camping, kayaking, snowmobiling, etc. This is not Traverse City, metro Detroit or Grand Rapids. The Grayling store has a good variety of items for the area. I come here from the South Higgins lake area. The wine, beer, liquor section is larger than other Family Fares in the area. I rarely drink but my 87 year old mother gets her way and they have Sobieski Vodka which makes my mother happy. My spoiled dog (all Mom's doing) eats FreshPet dog food. The Grayling store always has a variety of it in stock. The bakery, deli and produce usually has a good stock of items. Of course, I go during the week. They have a Starbucks in the store. The only one for miles. I buy decaf coffee beans and get the Pikes Place flavor. No one else in the area carry decaf beans. The parking lot could use some improvement. It's not a first good impression--potholes and barely visible lines. It always seems trashy. Inside the store is clean. Some of the aisles are not fully clear. All the employees are usually helpful and friendly. I personally cannot imagine what it's like to work in a resort area grocery store.

Stop promoting the extreme leftist crap. You have one individual who works in the Grayling store that enjoys arguing with customers regarding political views. He is a disgusting flamboyant gay man who chooses to wear a kilt and promote gay pride and the LGBTQ movement by tying a rainbow flag around his neck and skipping around the store like an idiot. Representing the store with professionalism, he does not! Don't you have a dress code? I as do many others, refuse to enter and purchase anything from Family Fare.

The staff is great, but the prices are consistently 20% above market. They are clearly taking advantage of people who don’t have the mobility to shop elsewhere.

Didnt put a bag of groceries aside. approximately 15 bucks of groceries left behind accidentally, went back a day later and no groceries, no refund offered. Pretty pathetic of them.

Went there this morning. Was going to do self check out didn't have what I wanted. But had the giant mm's on sale $1.09. They rang up at $2.09. A women said I will give you them at that price, but its wrong. So... then waited 10 min for them to figure out which mm's they were. She switched them to the little package, then the machine didn't have cash so I had to go to teller who was mad $100.00 bill for $1.09. waited 5 min for her, then 5 min for her to get money. Should have said I don't want the mm's give the hundred back, tired of your over prices no tellers store. I did let her know the giant mm's are going to give her trouble as they are not $1.09 every row had them at that price, and the first lady wasn't taking the signs down. Really hard to shop local, and why did sneaky switch them to the little package. Tellers are not friendly.

I had an absolutely terrible experience here and it wasn't the first time. The manger(?) has been extremely rude and unpleasant every time I have gone. While using the self checkout lane there was an issue with the scanner so she had to come over to help. My son had been helping me unload the groceries and when he went to go put another item on the belt she snapped at him. The lines were backed up at the other checkout lanes as well so there were a bunch of people standing around and they heard her and looked over at us is disbelief. It was incredibly embarrassing and she had no right to yell at my child like that. He was only trying to help. The other times I went to this grocery store I had issues with the same lady. The shelves weren't stocked and the store isn't well kept. I will not be returning.

Every time I come here no matter the time only one cashier and then the fast check outs. Which by the way are not fast because most people do not know how to use them And have whole shopping carts full of items. Poor management and lack of staff. Too bad it's the only grocery store in this town.

1. The employees are friendly and store is cle 2. Prices are definitely a little high 3. Sometimes the shelves are well stocked and other times they are half empty 4. Be careful because often items are out of date or nearly so 5. Never more than one cashier and several self checkouts 6. This is the result of not having any competition
