It was FILTHY. So dirty!
They said they were under renovation.
We checked into our room and I wiped the laminate floor because it was dirty. The white washcloth was black! And full of hair and dirt!
I brought the cloth to the front desk. I asked if they had any fully renovated brand new and clean rooms?
She said no.
It looked like someone slept in the beds. Sheet weren’t clean. No mattress pad cover on the mattress. Toilet had hair on it. Sink was dirty .
Dirts and crud in the corners of the bathroom.
The Ramada was awful and filthy and Gross!
I would absolutely not recommend or stay there. Yuck!

I had booked this room in June for a week in October. When I arrived Saturday night to check in after driving 5 hours to get there, I was informed that they had triple booked and I did not have a room!! No notification or anything!! I will not ever step foot in this establishment again and urge others to avoid as well

Not happy at all! First of all the pool was closed because of glass in it. First room I checked into was flooded had to ask for new room. Next room had stains on the chairs in the room gross red stains. Had funky smell. Lastly I didnt want to believe it but we had bedbugs crawling all over. We left went home very early in am. Never have I ever experienced such filth. Lady at the counter was very kind. And so was the bartender. But will never stay there ever again. So grossed out. And I pray to God we better not have juat transfered them home. Ramada you need to close and get some work done or demolish the building its disgusting and very disappointing

If you’re looking up Grayling Hotels reviews or searching for places to stay in Grayling, Michigan, please read this before booking — I wish someone had warned me.
My stay at Grayling Hotels (Grayling, MI) was terrible from start to finish. The rooms were filthy, the parking lot was dark and covered in trash, and garbage cans were overflowing the entire time I was there. The place looked and felt completely neglected.
Inside the room, things were even worse:
The carpet was sticky and stained, and the furniture was extremely outdated.
There was black mold around the bathroom and window — it was so bad I worried about breathing it in.
The water barely got warm, even after running it for several minutes.
I got locked out of my room twice, and both times the front desk had to make new keys because the door locks weren’t working properly.
The whole property gave off a very unsafe and uncomfortable vibe. It honestly felt like a drug hotel — random people hanging around the parking lot late at night, loud noises in the hallways, and no visible security. I didn’t feel safe leaving my car or belongings unattended.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. There are much cleaner, safer options nearby that actually care about their guests and property maintenance.
If you’re searching online for Grayling Michigan hotel reviews, dirty hotel in Grayling, or unsafe hotels in Grayling MI, this is the one to stay away from.

By far the most terrible place I have ever stayed. I was there on extended stay for work. The bathroom did not have a vent so the bathroom became riddled with black and pink mold. The people who clean the rooms are thieves and stole out of my luggage. Over 500 dollars worth of clothing, vitamins and electronics were stolen. When I went to the front desk, they did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. No plan for reimbursement was offered. The vitamins mysteriously reappeared but nothing else. Me and the men I were with were the only black people there. Some youngin claimed that we tried to lure her into our car, and we got hemmed up in the parking lot by like 5 cops. When they investigated and checked the cameras they realized that she was lying and eventually let us go. It was extremely traumatizing to say the least. Stay away from Grayling Michigan if you are a brown person and especially the Ramada.

If I could give the cleanliness of this faciity a 0 stars, I would.
I booked this room as part of a group (there were several others who were staying there for the same in event), and I wish I would have gone elsewhere. The first room that was provided to us, seemed OK for a budget hotel, upon further inspection we found blood stains on two of our pillows. We immediately went to the front desk who seemed to have been being put through the wringer (I'm assuming that there were several guests with problems). They assinged us to a new room. Upon inspection of the new room, the cleanliness was way worse. First, there were potato chip crumbs on the floor everywhere. A vaccum clearly had not been ran through this room in a while or ever. There were cobwebs in the corners that looked like they belonged in a haunted haunted house. There was a giant red stain on the bathroom door which we hoped was pizza sauce? Then we found mens dirty boxers on the floor behind the door and a dirty sock. Not to mention the giant dent/hole in the wall. The nightstand plugs/power strip didn't work. The bathroom was dated and there was black mold/mildew around the base of the toilet and shower. To say the least, I've never stayed in a more disgusting room. I will never stay here again, and whomever runs this should be ashamed.
After speaking with others in our group, each had a similar experience.
We were originally booked for two nights and I would have never slept there one night if it had not been that other places were sold out. We left the following morning as there was no way I was staying another night.
On the flip side, staff was kind and they truly were semi-helpful. Location is great for the area.
I wish I had taken more pictures of the room to show how gross it was.

Gross room's. Unhelpful staff. We paid $195 a night. This is unacceptable. I can see why it was the only available place in the area.
Our room had a mildewy/stale smell, really messed with my nose and sinuses. I felt gross the entire time I was there.
Even just bringing a real cleaning crew to do a deep clean would have done this place so much. Stains and splatters all over the carpet, moldy curtains, tabacoo remains all over the bedsheets, and crud all around the window and AC.
Someone's old stiff washcloth was left hanging in the bathroom.
If you have a choice, drive a little farther and stay somewhere else; give yourself some peace of mind and actually relax somewhere else.
