Thank you to everyone at the clinic for taking wonderful care of Frankie during his dental procedure. Your clinic has the fairest prices, the nicest staff, and I know you love my boy as if he was your own. Also love all the recommendations for healthy yummy treats and food for all of my pets

Don't take your dogs here. They give your dogs unnecessary vaccines. We took 2 dogs there and they give dogs vaccines they don't need like the boarding vaccine our dogs don't get boarded visits dog parks or any other place that would require the need of this vaccine. We took our one 9 month old puppy there because we found a worm in vomit. He tested positive they gave him medicine. We were going to have them neuter him but felt uncomfortable and canceled. Thank God we did. Got a second opinion and come to find out he tested positive for something else and never told us about it. He tested positive for a blood disorder that is caused by Lyme disease and it causes a bleeding problem. The new vet canceled his surgery. ThankGod for second opinions. Please don't take your pets here if you love them.

Been doing business with them for 30 years.Needed them to board our two small dogs for a day. When we went to pick up our dogs the next morning we discovered they have a 10:00am pick up time that no one mentioned. We were 50min. beyond this so they charged us another $50 for the this 50 min. Don’t you think they could have charged us for only the hour we were past??? We have found they are willing to give up a long customer over one hour. They need not be concerned as they showed us . We won’t be back!

We have used them for years with multiple fur babies. Though some could not be saved , they always treat them with care and love like they were their own

My family and I have gone to Town & Country for years, through excitement over new pets and when we needed to say goodbye. I brought one of my dogs in due to spreading red inflamed skin, a recent tick bite, an open wound on one paw and a half broken toenail in the back. I have 2 other pets with swelling sores and skin rash, and we just had a healthy cat get very ill very fast and die. They put a muzzle on over his swelling and took him in the back for less than 5 minutes. When I asked about each issue making sure she looked at everything she got very rude and told me that there is nothing wrong. No samples were taken no tests ran, and no answers. She didn't even bother to cut his damaged nail, saying she didn't want him to flail or buck. I will never go back again. If your vet can't even cut a nail or do some swabs, do an exam in front of you or hear your concerns first hand they need to find a new profession. Absolute Laziness. Beyond that, shows no compassion and caring for your pet at all. I have already lost one pet abruptly, now I have 3 others I need to find a new vet for.Looking through these reviews I see most of the negative comments are directed at one person, what a shame to let someone so rude and nasty ruin your practices. 20+ years of loyalty and trust all gone.**The response to this review is completely ridiculous. This dog has already been to their offices, has testing and procedures done here with no sedation required. They did not say or mention he was difficult and would need sedation they simply said there was nothing wrong with him. He is now being treated for a skin infection, had his nail taken care of, and had a Hawthorne needle pulled out of the wound on his foot where they said there was none. All done in front of me, with compassion and without any aggression or incidents.I had no problem putting a muzzle on him out of an abundance of caution when they removed him from the room, he was scared, but I simply wanted the doctor to visually see the swelling. Why you would ever remove an already nervous animal away from the owner, out of a private quiet EXAM ROOM to the back with more strangers, more noise and new smells defies logic. The last vet we saw there came into the exam room, spoke to me directly about concerns, and I held his head while she took the samples she needed and that was it. Standard care as far as I am concerned.I gave them the opportunity while at the visit to correct their mistakes by asking to see another vet.All I was interested in was my pets health. After sitting and waiting, hearing them talking badly about me from the back, I was told that wasn't an option. As far as the unkind words to the doctor, simply read other reviews here and on Facebook. I am not the only one who has had this type of experience with the same doctor.Shannon Klein has no business being a vet.

I have been going to town & country since I don't remember when. Never had much of a problem until the last few years. They have the rudest office staff I've ever seen, the doctors act like you have no idea who your animal is or how to care for it. I live alone she is all I have day to day. I talk to her like she's one of my kids and basically she is. The thing that has really irritated me is that they don't have time to spend with you or your dog it is like going to a human doctor. They are allotted 15 minutes to spend on each patient, all they really want to do is have you keep coming back to give them more money. I've always thought vets go into that field because of the love and compassion for animals. That is not shown in this vet office at all. Sell, sell sell.

Very friendly, caring, fast and knowledgeable. I also found it affordable for what I needed. They are very caring when it comes to having to say goodbye to old friends. Thank you for the most endearing card as it helped in my grief.

Update: After nearly $500 in vet bills, my dogs have passed the gastrointestinal bug they caught while boarding at Town and Country.Boarded my dogs from Aug 18-21st. They came home vomiting with diarrhea. I tried anti-nausea/anti-diarrhea pills, venison and rice. Nothing was working. Brought them in for boarding 3 days later, Aug 24th, and they took my dogs in after I explained what was going on. I leave to help my daughter move into college then called me to come get them because they don't know what's wrong with them. They didn't do an exam or anything to try and figure it out. Visibly upset since this means I would miss my daughter moving into to college, I was short. Taylor told me being short is rude and she would not examine my dogs and I needed to take them home. Now I have sick dogs and a vet that refused to examine them. This behavior is unacceptable and has earned this review

Wonderful and compassionate people! My previous CKCS had a severe reaction to the lepto shot. So with my CKCS puppy, I wanted to do the shot separately from the others and wait after in the clinic to make sure he was ok. The staff were understanding and amazing. They were so gentle with Picco and checked in with me while I waited after the shot. I truly feel like they cared.

Beware! Kenneled 4 of our dogs for a week at this clinic and when we returned 3 out of 4 had contracted Kennel Cough. Had to obtain antibiotics and other meds to battle this infection that was obviously caught at the kennel. Town and Country Animal Clinic had the nerve to charge us at full price (not even a discount) for the medicines that were needed to battle an infection secured at the kennel. The dogs started exhibiting symptoms the day after we got them back (8 weeks to 14 years old) and they were NOT exposed to any other animals or environments except for home when retrieved. For $100/day kennel fee, which since has been increased, this office secured another $165 in antibiotics needed to resolve an issue caused by their unsanitary kennel. They could not tell me how thorough they fumigate or disinfect the kennels. We have used Town and Country for years, but this will be the last time. We will be utilizing Sparta Animal Clinic instead, as we found they are significantly cheaper for procedures. Battling this contagious infection is a nightmare, and I hope our young puppy that is potentially at high risk for this infection does not die due to the conditions at Town and Country Animal Clinic.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. Hands down one of thee most unprofessional vet offices I have ever been to. First time in the waiting room for a half hour with one visit from the vet assistant at the get go for less than a minute, the pup gets anxiety from it being her first time there. Get sent home with sedatives for the next time. Called 2 days prior to the second appointment and was told I didn't have to give her the sedatives. Get to the appointment to be told they will not see my dog after they made me put a muzzle on her. why did I have to put the muzzle on her if they were not going to see her? All around very dissatisfied and will never consider this place again.
