I love how family oriented the area is. My boyfriend owns his boat so I'm now a reoccurring guest. More importantly, every moment spent in such a peaceful, luxurious place is worth cherishing. Beautiful.

Great time at the park. Sat on the upper deck watching boats and people for about 1 and a half hours.

A beautiful well kept facility. But it is NOT open to the general public. Only residents who've acquired a pass can get in along with guests they can designate. Bottom line you are not getting in without the proper credentials.

This is specifically regarding the marina. I had to cancel my Marina contract after paying a $275 deposit. Despite the fact that the well was easily re-rented, the the park refused to return my $275. Be aware of that. They are way over charging for their wells now. There is no food service available now. They have not been able to attract anyone to take over the food hut because no one uses it. The use of the food trucks, as a food source for people who come to the park is ridiculous. I can’t believe given the setting and given what they charge for the wells that they can’t do any better. Shame on them.

Being from out of town, we were just taking in the views of the lake and wanted to check out this seemingly nice park only to be met by a very unwelcoming, and quite rude, gate keeper. Not a hello, no "welcome to pier pointe park, how can I help you?" Just looked at us as if we didn't belong.. Just this first impression alone does not bode well for future visits or recommendations to others.

Open to residents only. Dropped my wife and kid off at the nearby hospital and thought I'd take some morning pictures while waiting (only one family member can wait due to COVID

Pier Park is owned by the City of Grosse Pointe Farms and is exclusively for residents and invited guests. Each of the Grosse Pointes has its own private park. I was an invited guest and was interested in seeing if this park lived up to its reputation. Most of the people I've spoken to prefer Pier Park to the other Grosse Pointe parks, but that is just a matter of opinion. I cannot speak to that since I have not been to the other parks, but I came away impressed by Pier Park. It is a lakefront park with a marina, beach, pool, splash playground, community building, and tennis courts. It's a lovely place to spend the day if you are lucky enough to live here or know someone who does.
