Ripe Records Detroit is a nice little old‑school record shop in Grosse Pointe. It sells and trades vinyl records and also sells used audio equipment and offers repair. The shop has a great selection of new and used vinyl, and many customers say it is probably the best store on this side of town. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they offer fair prices. People enjoy browsing the shop and finding music from their youth, funk, spoken word, and other sounds. Photos show the variety of records, and many say the shop is worth a trip from downtown Motor City.
Great atmosphere! Staff was very friendly, conversational and approachable. Nice selection all around. Good choice of reggae and electronic, some interesting 45s. Definitely worth dropping in!
