Was here at 11:35pm and the doors are locked. Said they were open until midnight. Poor management!

Why does stores near mixed or Africa-American and Caucasian neighborhoods this unkept and nasty. You would think since it's located in Grosse Pointe Woods it would be cleaner until you sit in the parking lot and watch for a few minutes. This one is seldom cleaned properly. We pay for our food just like everyone else. You can smell the old, so-called, "fresh fish" at the "front door" and it smells very old. I won't buy meat from this store either. The lines are generally long and many goods are not found here. This store generally has one or two open registers even in the evenings between 5pm and closing. A lot of people hate those self-service registers and won't use them. The outside parking lot and landscaping needs a lot of help. Before you go inside you already know Kroger is not investing money back in this place. I asked my neighbors which Kroger Store do they shop at. They all said the one near or in Grosse Pointe Park on Kercheval street. So, I went there and it was far cleaner and had more people behind the registers. The wait was short and the staff was very friendly too. There is no excuse!

We like going to the store for a grocery runs. It would be nice though if the deli was open so we could get some sliced meat that we preferred. The checkout lines were no problem.

This Kroger is four blocks from my home that is thee only reason I go there. The deli??? FORGET ABOUT IT!! Rudest people work there and they rarely are open anymore. That is probably the best decision they have ever made because they literally will give you pre-sliced salami and label it "Boars Head" & charge you the higher price. Well some people are on to the laziness. It's theft. After I returned my non Boars Head salami nobody cared about the reasoning for my return. NOBODY CARES THERE. It is just too bad that this is it..the best we are going to ever get from that place.. rude and thieves.

First off I've waited for some time to leave a review , but after multiple times with using this Kroger's deli, I must post one. The workers aren't rude but they're not friendly at all, in fact half the time they try to avoid you. Now, keep in mind I'm not speaking on the workers who may be working on an order already, those instances make since for not making eye contact. I applaud the ones who let you know they're already working on an order. However, many times I've been to this Kroger and I will wait a few minutes after the workers have chatted and put their gloves on as slowly as possible until they finally want to ask me what I need. Now I always ask for very thin sliced meat and cheese. And I speak up and annunciate it perfectly yet for some reason the younger girls with the attitude constantly give me super thick sliced meat and cheese. Like it's so thick that it's not even listed on the photo for how thin one wants their meat. This is my sixth time dealing with this exact situation. Maybe I need to be that customer who asks for a manager so I can make an example out of the lazy ones with attitudes. I don't get it, I'm very friendly but this is just uncalled for. You'll find my thick thick salami in the cold salads section because your young lady with her braids in a bun refused to give me thinly sliced salami yesterday. I kept the other meat and cheese because my kids will eat it. It's just sad when you have someone who works in customer service not take pride in their job nor care to listen to the customer's requests.

Our local Kroger has a number of cashiers I like dealing with. The newer hired stock personnel is not very friendly or helpful. The thing that really bothers me is that this store, in the upscale community of Grosse Pointe, has the worst bottle return machines I have seen anywhere. Not only are they dirty and old, they are closed more than they are open. It makes me very angry with the store to pack up the bags of returns and get to the door, just to find out the area is closed.

This is about the 20th complaint I've lodged about this store I've sent pictures and emails but it just keeps getting better. I just left the store and was checked out by Janice a woman so rude, so unfriendly towards the people in line, but the minute the bag and girl walked up she started talking to her and ignored us. You need new employees! Most of the people you have working there are garbage and are treating the customers like crap I just watched your deli counter people get in an argument with a customer, what happened to the customer is always right. You have a girl named Marcy who is fantastic and a young man named Max who is great and I'm sure there's a few others that are really good employees and nice people but a majority of the people you've hired are just horrible rude and nasty and if I were to guess I'd probably say a little racist. I've lived in this area my whole life and have been shopping here since it was a farmer jacks and you have managed to make it worse

My family and I have shopped at this Kroger almost two decades and have yet to be let down. They always have everything we need and are always eager to aid us in all of our needs. The staff is incredibly kind and the store is very clean. Never disappoints

Been here 7 times to return bottles since June 15th. It's 2 weeks later. Still closed. Maybe you should have opened prior to the 15th like the state allowed so that way you could have gotten a jump on this. You're still taking my money for bottle deposits, but not allowing returns. 4 months......

THEY. MADE. A. MISTAKE. DISPENSING. MY. PRESCRIPTION. The ONLY reason I have this prescription filled here is because no other pharmacy carries it. I live in NYC and am in Detroit once/month. First, they're MUCH more expensive than CVS (they no longer carry my drug). I take two tablets of the same drug for a combined dosage. At one point, I had my doctor call to prescribe two tablets of the lesser dosage because I'd come up short. Anyhow, I ordered a 90-day refill, tossed it in my suitcase (I had enough tablets from the previous prescription to get me through my visit), came home, and discovered that I had 90 60mg tablets . . . and TWO 15mg. I even asked the clerk why the 15mg. prescription seemed so cheap and was told "I dunno." We're talking DRUGS here--pharmacists are supposed to catch seeming discrepancies. MY RECORDS INDICATE 90 OF EACH STRENGTH. To make matters worse, they won't mail me my pills, HOWEVER, someone who's not me can pick them up and mail them to me--DOES THAT MAKE SENSE??? If your prescription can be filled elsewhere, AVOID KROGER LIKE THE PLAGUE. Imagine what could happen if they made a mistake with your insulin, or a drug that could be fatal if taken in the wrong dose. This is an overpriced CLOWN CAR.

I have had issues with rude staff at this location several times. Yesterday a manager (or at least she said she is a manager sometimes) totally ignored me when I said something to her. When I repeated it, she stared at me and said rudely "I heard you the first time". This store does not have as nice a selection as other Kroger stores. And once I had to wait around for about 20 minutes for bottle/can returns because all machines were full or broken. Staff kept saying someone would be right there, but it actually took that long for an employee to come over to the bottle return area. There are several other Kroger stores in my area and a Meijer store. Although this store is only two miles from my home, I have decided I will never go there again.

I was a little skeptical at first and then we received a coupon for redbox and after standing there for a few minutes, I figured it out...lol....pretty easy to maneuver after that.....haven't used it since I racked up a few late fees.....but still very fun to use
