Very neat little book place to take your kids and get them hooked on either reading on their own or listening to one read to them.

This was our first time visiting this bookstore and it is absolutely an adorable store with a cafe inside. Took the grand son and we had a nice time here. Spent a couple of hours and the owners were very welcoming... definitely will be returning.

What a lovely find! Beautiful little shop that is everything a children's book store should be.

What a lovely book store! We drove all the way across town to go to this magical place with our grandkids. They found lots of books, games, and puzzles to enjoy, and we ended the visit with ice cream. And the staff with friendly and helpful. We'll be back.

Such a special and fun place to take kids. I have taken each of our kids multiple times, and there is always a great selection, and fun atmosphere. The workers are very helpful, and the owner had been there several times and she’s always been so kind to our children. Such a great place!

I felt very unwelcome with my almost 3 and 5 year old here a few weeks back. My sister and law and I drove almost 35 minutes to check this book store out with our kids. When arriving we weren't greeted with a hello or anything…Our kids wanted to check out the elevator & the worker was very unpleasant about us using it stating it was for wheel chair use, and made us both uncomfortable about using it, but the kids were so excited to check out the cool painted elevator.. second of all I felt like I was being watched like a hawk and my child was even scolded for moving around a stuffed animal. I wouldn’t go here again, or recommend going with children even though it’s a children’s book store.

If I could imagine a bookstore this would be it! The murals, the bookshelves, the atmosphere, coffee shop and the secret garden this would be it. Although, they only have a small section for adults this is a "must see" bookstore. Prices are comparable to other big name stores.

This place is simply magical. I said “wow!” at least a half dozen times while exploring. It’s a true haven for children’s books complete with a kids reading nook under the staircase, a theater area for special events and a cafe (open during regular bookstore hours and featuring coffee, tea, ice cream and sometimes a few baked goods from a nearby shop) for parents. It’s visually stunning from the decor and displays to the skylight. It’s also very welcoming and the staff were all cheery and ready to help, not being pushy, but offering support with finding anything and to take what I had grabbed so far so I could continue browsing. There were also signs around the library with people suggesting various books with their reasons behind their choice. It’s a children’s bookstore, so most of the selections you’ll find are geared towards young kids, but they also have a good selection of graphic novels, young adult books and even a small section for adults in the cafe area (think Kristin Hannah).
The only thing that would make it perfect would be to have a ramp or elevator to the upper floor making it fully accessible.
Parking is available in the street (paid). There are also lots nearby for free.

This place is magical.... with the black & white checkerboard floors in the cafe, the beautiful side garden, the skylight, murals, monsteras overhead. Every detail was well thought out and expertly executed. They have books too. Lol. It's a must visit in GPP.
