The wait at this pharmacy is beyond ridiculous. I’ve never had to wait like this, especially considering they have a full staff. I thought it was a one time fluke as I’m new to the area but no, it’s just like this and it’s a nightmare!

The most annoying pharmacy I have ever used. If a prescription is not in stock, staff make no attempt to order it until you call. If insurance will only cover a fewer number of pills than the prescription indicates, staff leaves the script on hold for eternity—until you call. Minimum wait time on the phone is seven minutes. Pharmacist hangs up before you can ask follow-up questions like, when will this script be ready? Staff is overwhelmed and consistently rude.CVS corporate: This is a broken business model. If my employer’s pharmacy benefits package didn’t force me to go through you, I would never go to CVS again. What a rotten company.

Can anyone explain how the pharmacy has been so bad for so long? Obviously management has heard from customers about the problem, if the reviews here are any indication. There was a pharmacist who worked there recently, a middle-aged gentleman with glasses, who was extremely condescending and unhelpful. He seemed annoyed that I was asking questions at all. Isn't answering questions about meds and insurance actually part of your job? They routinely put medications on hold for no reason whatsoever. My maintenance meds for fibromyalgia and treatment resistant depression go unfilled because they haven't ordered enough of the med to fill the prescription that I take literally all of the time. You'd think they'd know to keep those meds in stock. When I don't have my nerve blocker, things get very bad, very fast. The same is true with my antidepressant. I once was in line behind a woman who had the same problem WITH HER HEART MEDICATION. They are quite literally playing with people's lives. The only reason I haven't moved yet is that between my three kids and I, it would be a gigantic hassle to switch our multiple meds per person. One bright spot: See if you can talk to Tim. Taller guy, long blond hair. He is far and away their best employee when it comes to customer service and friendliness.

ZERO STARS!On the first occasion I dropped a prescription off in the afternoon and was told the prescription would not be filled until the next day although the pharmacy was open for another 5 hours. When I asked the pharmacy staff when I could expect it to be ready the next day they told me they didn’t know and could not even give me a ballpark time frame. I asked if I should call in the morning and was told “you can try, but we probably won’t pick up the phone.” This is horrendous customer service and deeply unprofessional. So, I had to spend time chasing the staff for a day to find out when my prescription would be ready. A pharmacy being short staffed should not impact the well being of their customers in getting access to needed medications.Less than 2 weeks later I had to have another prescription filled at the pharmacy-hoping I’d have a better experience than the prior one. Unfortunately, the pharmacy staff repeatedly lied to me, including Mustafa, the manager, who told me that my prescription was on hold because my insurance would not pay for it. I was told the day before they had contacted my doctor ,which they did not. I asked him what the cost would be to pay for the meds out of pocket and was told I could not, which is another lie. This is deeply concerning when depending on a pharmacy to provide you accurate and truthful information. He was extremely rude to me, on top of lying to me multiple times, as to why my prescription was not being filled. Due to it being the weekend, I will have to wait multiple days to have this issue resolved and my prescription filled. This is now the second time within weeks, I have counted on the staff to fill my prescriptions with pushback, false information, and having to spend hours of my time chasing the staff around to do their job and to effectively communicate what is going on. This pharmacy cares little about the health or well being of its customers.

While their phone system might not, actually answer phone calls, it didn’t.I had a pleasant visit once I decided to just go in. Was able to get some updated vaccine information and treatment on the spot. Sal was very helpful, all good once inside the store.

No issues here. Unsure why there are all of the 1 star reviews... Only thing to keep in mind is that the pharmacy has hours that they are closed during the day.

Wish I could have given 0 stars waited on the phone for 1 hr the lady came to the phone said it was an accident then put me back on hold then 20 mins later when they answered again the lady was super rude and short with me and pretty much did nothing to help me I am asthmatic and lost my Albuterol inhaler and needed a early refill due to heavy wheezing and I could barley breath she then told me it won’t be ready for another 3 hours and I let her know I had to work before then and she basically told me that I’m sol. Overall very bad experience and they obviously won’t obligate emergencies

My wife was given the WRONG vaccine at the MinuteClinic at this location. The LPN administered the wrong vaccine to my pregnant wife. Even though my wife (a Physician) had set an appointment for the correct vaccine through CVS' website, when on-site the LPN claimed she didn't know what vaccine she had ordered and then proceeded to first try and give her a pediatric dose (why, is beyond us). Then, after my wife repeatedly told her she wanted the vaccine for pregnant women the LPN gave her the WRONG vaccine, one for NOT pregnant women.DO NOT ALLOW THIS CVS or MINUTE CLINIC TO GIVE YOU OR YOUR FAMILY A VACCINE. Go to Merit Woods pharmacy down the street. No wait, locally owned.

I always find what I need at this location and its close to my job so when I get off work, I’m able to go shopping. I love that they give out four dollar coupons.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I went in last night due to my mom being discharged from Beaumont Hospital and her doctor recommended an Humidifier. So I enter the location and there were two Caucasian woman women who followed me around the store as if I was attempting to steal. As I proceeded with the selected items to the front I went to use the self scan as the women were towards the back of the store. There was a Caucasian customer ahead of me with several item as well. The two employed both then are seen racing to the front one pretending to be doing something on her phone and the other out of breath telling me they gotta ring you up here. The Second Lady near the door constantly glared at me as if I was going to run out the door. It’s bad that I’m todays society that I’m still racially profiled for being black I. The community I was raised in.

I recently got a Shingles vaccination at the Rite Aid in Grosse Pointe. The pharmacist was worse than Nurse Ratched in "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest" - I was clearly an inconvenience in her schedule. She pounded the needle in me and sent me on my way.So, I decided to go to CVS Store #8081 in Grosse Pointe for my Pfizer BiValent Booster and my Senior Flu Vaccine. I had Ali take care of me and he was incredible. Caring, kind and attentive. He worked on my insurance coverage, told me what to expect from the vaccines, and he was gentle with his injections. Ali was awesome - the consummate professional, so please recognize his value as an outstanding CVS employee!

Vaccinations- don't go here; they do it wrong. You stretch the skin when you puncture the skin and sure as hell you don't JIGGLE the needle! She said her name was Daniella (?)
