Nice fitness center but the weight room gets overrun by packs of high schoolers. Wouldn’t recommend for the price. Pool and gym are nice.

Was there for my physical therapy. The staff was friendly, attentive and honest in their efforts to improve their clients' physical conditions. All the personnel there are welcoming and personable, making for a welcoming and enjoyable experience each and every time. The facility is clean and top notch in its amenities. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone.

I wanted to like this club. I miss my old gym so much but this wasn't a good fit for us. If better connected to the community it may be a more positive experience.

The Neighborhood Club is a clean facility with updated machines. There are a ton of classes to choose from (yoga, HIIT, TRX, boot camp, Zumba, etc.) for people at all levels of fitness and the instructors are great. The facility draws people of all ages (high schoolers to 90-year-olds), so there's no gym bro mentality or "gymtimidation." If your idea of a good workout is loud grunting and throwing weights around, this may not be the gym for you. If you want to swim laps or do an exercise class in a warm pool, have your choice of 70+ free fitness classes, play pickle ball or shoot baskets in the gymnasium, or work out in a well-maintained environment, go for a tour and see what you think.

The Neighborhood Club is a clean facility with updated machines. Of course there aren't as many treadmills as at a big box gym, but 13ish are plenty for me. There are a ton of classes to choose from (yoga, HIIT, TRX, boot camp, Zumba, etc.) for people at all levels of fitness and the instructors are great. Another review mentioned the room on the lower level not being big enough for CrossFit and the fitness manager knowing nothing about what makes a good CrossFit instructor. Well, they don't offer CrossFit, so I think that makes sense. The facility draws people of all ages (high schoolers to 90-year-olds) and fitness levels, so there's no gym bro mentality or "gymtimidation." If your idea of a good workout is loud grunting and throwing weights around, this may not be the gym for you. Staff is courteous and efficient. Trainer Randy is top notch; he knows every muscle in your body and which muscles need a workout

My family has been members here for about a year now, prior we were at LA Fitness when the kids care was abruptly stopped. There are sports for kids, and adults available and their FitClub Classes for kids are so great! As far as the staff, they are pleasant and informative. The newer App you can get for the gym is nice and has easy to use features. I would love to see more swimming options available for kids outside of private lessons and more dedicated space for kids <14.Clean, accessible, friendly, and overall asset to the community.

This rating pertains to the fitness center only. Over all the worst behavior for gym goers I’ve ever seen. This place is way too expensive for the lack of equipment and dirty appearance. Like everything else in Grosse Pointe, this place is a huge disappointment..

Decent equipment but its extremely poorly maintained. It seems like they dont do any maintenance of any sort actually. Hope they improve this

I did 16 sessions of physical therapy at Beaumont Hospitals Neighborhood Club location. I feel so much better and more confident. Dr Steffens was amazing and very caring. The facility is very clean. I thought it was weird they landscape with plastic flowers, considering the Neighborhood Club requires a membership. For parking, Beaumont has validation codes written on a dry erase board just inside the door; otherwise, it costs 25 cents/30 min. There are multiple pay machines at the entrance.

Have been a member since it remodeled, it is one of the very best additions to the area. Always clean, respectful staff and wonderful classes. Work out area Busy in the early part of the day, not as busy in the afternoon, which is great for using equipment. Shout out to all the folks who give personal instruction! Lately I've needed to use the Beaumont Physical Therapy area. Wonderfull, knowledgeable and accomodating folks who are extremely knowledgeable, and also have their Doctorate in PT! Won't be going anywhere else if I need it. They even showed me how to use some of the work out equipment in the gym for when I've finished my PT program! Check out the various programs offered!

Seems like the Neighborhood Club started out as class act. However, it is on a slipperly slope to becoming a club with lowering and lowering standards. Try asking an attendant to enforce rules. Good luck!
