“My parents recently moved to Brighton and chose Four Seasons when their cat became unexpectedly sick. They were impressed with the kindness and compassion they received when their beloved pet ultimately required humane euthanasia. My parent recommended Four Seasons to me when I moved to the area and needed a new vet for my pets.

My little blind senior spunky dog Cocomelon had just had his annual check up and vaccinations before we moved, but he needed a dental cleaning which I was unable to schedule at our previous vet before we moved. I contacted Four Seasons and even as a new patient, they were able to see him for an initial consult appointment right away and were able to schedule the dental appointment as soon as the following week.

Dr. McKenna ended up having to extract 17 bad and/or infected teeth and while it was expensive (as all vet care is these days) it needed to be done. The entire staff was friendly and even after a full day of dental surgery, my little buddy walked out of there with his tail wagging.

A week later Cocomelon was back there for an ear infection and was super fussy when it came to getting ear medication. Dr. Tatman-Lilly took him in the back and managed to get it done. Afterwards I could hear everyone chanting “Yay Cocomelon!” and cheering him on. When they were done, Coco proudly strutted back into the exam room, happy to have received all that praise!

Vet visits are typically costly and stressful, but Four Seasons has provided good care so far and has made vet visits a little more enjoyable ?”

“Looking for a vet after moving from out of state, I found Dexter Animal Clinic. I was able to get in the next day for an exam and vaccines for my dog. My dog is highly anxious and stressed at the vet and the vet and vet tech were SO patient and kind. Typically, these visits are high stress for me and my dog due to her anxiety. They were able to handle her with care and do the exam and vaccines. Dr Nowicki also sat with me after the exam to go over any concerns I had and solutions for future vet visits to help her feel less stressed. It truly felt like him and the vet tech that helped really cared about me and my dog. I look forward to making this my primary vet and would encourage anyone, no matter your dogs stress level, to visit this vet.”

“Over the years, I've been to many vets! This clinic is BY FAR the best there is! The entire staff goes above and beyond! One time, my kitten was having issues (non-emergency....actually turned out to be nothing) and I called 2 hours before they closed and they got me in! They stayed late to make sure my cat was ok and put my mind at ease! I have to drive 30 minutes to get there ....and honestly I have a handful of vets within 10 miles of my house.... but the drive is worth it because they truly care! They answer your questions and make you feel heard! Dr. Jennifer is the best! So is her staff! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

“We are so grateful for the incredible care our dog Rutabaga (“Rudy”) has received at Banfield Brighton. Recently, Rudy was struggling with chronic pain and needed a series of injections to feel better. Arlene went above and beyond to help us through this process. She probably spent close to an hour total helping me coordinate Rudy’s injection appointments, making sure everything was lined up so our dog could get the care she needed.

Arlene has also been a constant source of empathy and knowledge for our family, guiding us as we navigate Rudy’s care. There are other Banfield locations that are closer to us, but we choose Brighton because of the dedicated veterinarians and because of staff members like Arlene who truly go above and beyond to help Rudy live her best life.”

As a note, they saved me a lot of money by showing how the continuous antibiotics my previous vet had prescribed were not needed”

“I have been going to this vet since 2000. I have found the vet techs to be amazing. They know me and my dogs and treat them with respect. I have a dog that is anxious and instead of bringing her to the back to do things which would make her even more anxious, they always treat the dogs in the room. I am amazed at how many vets do not do this. I never feel rushed during my visits. They have always cared for my dog on the floor instead of making them get on a table. Before seeing them, I had a vet tell me to put my 80 lbs dog on a table. My dog was so freaked out and my dog was heavy and it was very hard for me to lift him. I knew that vet was not for me so I called this vet. The owner of the clinic who is not practicing now, rolled on the floor with my dog upon the first visit and let my dog lick his face! That is someone who likes dogs. When my dog was diagnosed with cancer, they were amazing and helped connect me with MSU to try to save him. When that did not work, they were very compassionate. This was back in 2010 and I know that the clinic has some different people working but most of the vet techs from 2010 are the same vet techs today.

I moved and my dogs passed. I went 8 years without a pet. When I got a pet, I ended up for convenience sake moving to a vet that was 5 minutes from me. But I ended up coming back even though it is a 30 minute drive due to the care they take of being kind to my dog. It is a struggle to make it before the clinic closes but they always make an effort to let me be seen at the end of the day so I do not have to take time off work.

I also appreciate that they will be honest with you. While one vet may not feel as warm, I felt she always had me and my dogs best interests at heart. Not everyone has the overly warm personality (including me =) ) but that does not mean someone does not care. She was the one that told me that is was time for my dog to go and she was right. He was in a lot of pain. She was also the one that told us we were "killing our dog with kindness" by feeding him table scraps--he was overweight and it was not helping him. I appreciated her direct and needed feedback.

It is interesting to read some of the reviews because their experience does not align with my experience whatsoever. I know that everyone has their own experiences but mine have ALWAYS been positive which is why I felt compelled to write a review.”

“I have nothing but amazing things to say about this office. They got my 3 week old kitten in for emergency care within 2 hours on a Saturday. They were so kind, compassionate, encouraging, and informative on the care needed to help my struggling kitten thrive. 24 hours later, and little bear is making a real turnaround. She wouldn't have made it to see the day today without the help of all the staff at the office and I'm so grateful. 100% will be returning for any care needed for all of my pets.”
