I stopped by today because I needed to drop off a Fed Ex package. The employee working was very polite and did not make me feel as if this task was a burden (unfortunately, I have had unfavorable experiences at other locations). Because of her help, I decided I wanted to also purchase several items. It's nice to start my day with such a positive interaction.

There is a new manager and she has informed her employees to leave the loaded carts in the aisles and said the customers can walk around them. That store is so small and I went there today and sure enough, their were full carts in the aisles and had to move them to get around them. They need to shut this store down. The staff is a joke. They are too busy outside smoking. So I think the district manager Mark Hamilton needs to come to the Hamilton store and clean house!!

Every time I go there the employees can't do there job. Iv seen 3 of the female names in the paper for meth charges. That Ashley dailey. She was arrested for probation stealing drug charges and still is listed on backpage. And is a huge clepto I know for a fact she stole so much from my friends family and why my cusion was on vacation she let some man live in his home make dope deals and rob him blind

THE PHONE IS ALL WAYS BUSY. THEY NEVER TAKE CASH. 90% OF THE WORK GORCE ARE EITHER 8 DAYS FROM HAVING A CHILD AND OR MRTH ADICTS. THEY PROB STOLE THE PHONE.

Local Dollar General is awesome for everything! Prices are as good if not lower than competitor grocers and the hours are phenomenal!

Note: Currently on accepting card payments/self checkout only.New Review/Editing: As of 08/02/23 this store has seen a major overhaul. If you haven't been here in a while due to the previous disaster-that-was, you should stop in for the shock factor alone. Excellent Job turning things around! They also seem to have just about everything. Note: Store hours have shifted.Old Review: I have a feeling you're getting to the tipping point of if you don't hire some more people soon, so that you actually have items on the shelves, and a path to get to those shelves, you're going to lose all business and people aren't going to come back when you do hire someone. Every shelf is blocked by things needing to be put on the racks, and many of the racks are completely empty. It's not even possible to push a cart through most of the aisles. This store went from organized and convenient, to a complete disorganized disaster.

I have a feeling you're getting to the tipping point of if you don't hire some more people soon, so that you actually have items on the shelves, and a path to get to those shelves, you're going to lose all business and people aren't going to come back when you do hire someone. Every shelf is blocked by things needing to be put on the racks, and many of the racks are completely empty. It's not even possible to push a cart through most of the aisles. This store went from organized and convenient, to a complete disorganized disaster.

Lots of options of stuff to buy, but the place seems pretty dirty and disorganized, and there's only ever one checkout lane open with a long line. The self checkout is very finicky and sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. The staff kinda seem like they don't enjoy their jobs, but they try to be friendly and helpful when they can. Overall, a pretty alright place for some quick essentials shopping ?

Sadly, it was truck day, and only a couple aisles were passable...annoying, but obviously not their fault. HOWEVER...whoever Amy is needs serious training in how to treat other employees. While there was a line of customers waiting to pay, she was stomping around on her cell phone complaining about another employee. When the cashier asked for assistance for a couple of things, she scolded him and talked down to him in front of all the customers. She was unfriendly to everyone except the lady who she knew that was in line. By the time we were finished with our transaction, we could see her in the break room on her phone while the young man was left to deal with a long line all by himself. We usually don't encounter this nasty behavior when we go in this store. It was incredibly disappointing
