I mailed a birthday card with cash in it for the first time directly from the post office. It did not make it to its destination. Go figure. Sounds like an inside job.

My postal carrier broke the door off my mailbox putting too large of a package into the mailbox and trying to close the door. I found the door lying in the street. I called and spoke to Shannon at Hamilton post office 2 weeks ago, and she said she would inquire and call me back but never did! In the mean time, I tried to fix the door by super gluing the pegs back on, it worked for a week or so, but again today I found the door to my mailbox inside my mailbox this time!! I have an approximately $70 mailbox (not cheap) and I would like it fixed or replaced. I would like someone to do the right thing... I'm Still waiting to hear back. When I try to call the phone number, I get the fax beep and no one answers. I'm going in person tomorrow to try to

Dropped off letters for my mom and nephew. I checked on any new stamps. Mike, the clerk, was so helpful and sweet!! He pulled out a book for me to flip through and pick what I wanted.

Older gentlemen is always extremely short with me. This time I said "Hi, just dropping this package off today" he responded by grunting, and while looking me dead in the eyes, threw my package off to the side somewhere and moved on to the next customer. I tend to go out to Holland to ship things but couldn't get out there today. Never had issues with the driver, but that man ALWAYS gives me such a hard time.

Our delivery driver has broke our mailbox twice now. The first picture is the dent they left that makes it a little harder to close. The second picture is the tab they broke off. Instead of letting us know, or replacing it, they've decided that its fine and whenever they deliver our mail, they'll just leave it WIDE OPEN. Even though it does close with the slightest push of our hand, that is just too much to ask. So any important mail I get usually ends up wet from the storms or ends up on the road where it is run over or blown away.On top of that, we CONSTANTLY get mail that does not belong to us and does not have our address on it. I usually go hand deliver the mail to the people it belongs to. Which is sad that I CARE more than the drivers do.I saw someone recommending the post office as a "public bank". If that were to ever happen, I would expect my money to end up in others bank accounts and would probably end up receiving other peoples money as well.I am literally blown back that I have complained in person, which was blown off completely. I've written formal complaints which have gone unanswered. This is what we've come to expect from the USPS? No wonder its failing.

So once again my package is delivered to somebody else. Must be nice to have no accountability.. I have lived all around Michigan and up and down the East Coast this is definitely the worst Postal Service I have ever experienced.. thinking about seeing an attorney... update ever since the new postmaster my mail service has been perfect BIG thanks

If i could leave less than 0 i would. This was by far my worst experience ever dealing with a postal service branch. The worker at the window went out of his way to talk down to me and make me feel stupid when I went to mail a small package today. It felt like harassment in my opinion.. Needless to say I will be transferring to elsewhere.

Mail is constantly put in neighbor’s boxes - very slow and impersonal at post office as well.

Today is Wednesday September 4, 2019. I had dropped off a priority flat rate box at this branch on Friday August 23rd, 2019. Now 10 business days later, it still has not arrived at it's destination. I stopped in there today to try and locate it. I asked the gentleman helping me to look around in the mail room, and that maybe it got overlooked and left behind. His response ? " Oh that doesn't happen". Needless to say, he couldn't be bothered to help me.Tells me to have a good day. Besides this missing package; My neighbor would get my mail and I would get theirs, Gift cards sent by my family that never made it to my mailbox. I have never had mail problems anywhere else that I have lived. I'm very disappointed.

Nothing but mail issues since we moved a year and a half ago. We have a “cluster” of mailboxes where we live and as many times as I’ve been down to the PO to let them know they have distributed mail incorrecty, you’d think they would try to get it right at some point. It’s very frustrating and ridiculous. I never had these mail issues when we lived on the other side of town. My neighbor just brought me my mail out of her mailbox...again. The reason for my review.

I've stopped in here several times to mail packages out when I had to be in Hamilton for something else. Since it's a small post office, be prepared to wait for a while if there are several other people in there.
I'm glad it's not a necessity for me to be at this one, though Holland can be just as slow.
The man that waited on me the times I was there was always polite, so no issues with that, but by the sound of the other reviews on here, I am really glad I don't live in and have my mail delivered by this post office branch.

This morning I found my outgoing mail spread across the neighboring field, after the postal carrier had come thru. I called the Hamilton Branch and was assured that this was not done on purpose. I was told they would look in to it and get back with me as to the status of the additional outgoing mail that had been in my box. It is now 5:08pm, the office is closed and I have heard nothing. I would give them a 0 if I could.
As an update...two days later I receive a call from the Hamilton branch saying that my box door was already open and only one letter remained in the box when the carrier pulled up.
Not likely since my mail was stuck to the trunk of a tree 40ft away 10 minutes later.
