“Stopped in for some hobby paints for my 3D printed statues I make. A very young gentleman helped me find colors I wanted. I let him know I would like multiples of the colors I find hard to find. He smiled and said no problem. He seen I use a walker and I let him know I would like his help in gathering. He was very happy to help me gather my paints and find them in the racks. He carried them to the cashier when we finished, thanked me when I was thanking him. Then I joked with the cashier. Over all, a super pleasant trip and shopping experience. Such a wonderful store. Thank you Whistle Stop!”
“I’ve been coming here my whole life. It’s changed a lot since I was a kid, they used to have an awesome candy aisle. Over the years, that aisle has dwindled down to a section. I heard it was due to theft from students in the area. This store has a variety of things, at one point, they used to sell fresh duck eggs. I love this store. They have great customer service.”
“This store is amazing! You can't find an action figure selection like this anywhere else in Metro Detroit. I was very pleased to find a selection of JoyToy figures there. I've never seen them in person and was hesitant to buy them. But after checking them out they're, I've purchased a few! I love going in every month just to see the new items that cycle through.”

“I pre-ordered 7 paint sets of ATOM by Ammo by Mig. I initially received only 5 out of the 7 sets. So I waited a week and then called them. The gentleman was super polite and helpful and informed me that they are on back order and the owner or manager was trying his hardest to call Ammo from Europe to get them shipped over. I continue to wait and I finally received them. I'm giving 5 stars because the company was completely transparent with me about the new paint sets and I was not charged for the 2 remaining sets until they were shipped. They were also nice enough to throw in a fee Mr Hobby Thin Cement for the delay. I will definitely do business with them.. Everyone I spoke with since January was super kind and explained the issue. 10/10”

“I want to make a complaint against the Black Lady who is in charge of Once Upon a Child on Tecumseh Rd East, today like almost every day I went shopping for toys with my daughters, in one of the totes I found a duck figure, which was loose and I thought they had forgotten to put the price on it, so at the end of my visit to her store I went to pay, and I asked what the price of the figure was and she insinuated that I had stolen it from a bag and that she couldn't sell it to me, I find it outrageous that a frequent customer, and we can verify this by looking at the cameras, is treated in this way.”
“I had my daughter’s birthday party at the West Bloomfield location, two years ago and it was a hit. I’ve had her attend two camp sessions at the Dearborn location during winter break and she loved both of them. She had plenty of crafts to do and take home, got glitter hairstyles, and make up done. “This Barnes & Noble is located on the Wayne state university campus. As expected in Midtown the parking is street parking. Upon entering the building there is a separate café that is different from the Starbucks café. There is a lot of Wayne State merch. Office supplies were largely marked up. I came mostly for the Barnes & Noble aspect, I was disappointed in the limited selection of books- only 5 to 6 rows of books that were mostly geared towards young adult and fiction. The Starbucks city area was quite large with many students studying it hanging out. I would consider this location if you're already in the area and need a place to get Coffee or do work, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to check this place out unless you really need to for the bookstore.”

“This is a unique store here in downtown RO. It's off 4th street, west of Main Street, just a bit off the beaten path. There's such a hodge podge collection of items here. Some fun toys for kids, adults and the adult kids too. Stuffed toys, old school or retro toys. Some clothing items too. I do enjoy taking a gander here and there when we walk around downtown. If you are in town, do check it out, you might find a unique memorabilia item you just have to buy.”
“Jasmin was extremely helpful when I was asking specific details about balloons, she never got frustrated with my questions and worked with me through the whole process. Shannon was extremely kind when I called a few minutes later to change a few details about my order. The store was out of helium and the workers were dealing with frustrated customers and they all maintained professionalism and never got flustered or frustrated with rude customers. I was extremely impressed with everyone in the store tonight. They are doing a great job.”
