One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Everything I’ve had on the menu has been so delicious. Get the bolognese, get the mushroom toast, get the chocolate pudding, you won’t regret it.Also, all the bad reviews are because you can order using a QR code, which I find a convenient option. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Menus are available so I don’t really get the hate

Our server Catherine was super attentive. The risotto was excellent and so was the beet salad. Loved the atmosphere and the cocktails were delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great atmosphere. Reminds me of Chicago, perfect for a date night. I appreciated they had a non-alcoholic beer and cocktail selection. Our server was awesome and super attentive. We were impressed with the food. Our favorite was the Focaccia bread!

Ordered 3 smash burgers. The menu says $15.00 each. My total was $60.00. What kind of math is that. And all the fries were burnt.

We had the winter squash, wedge salad, beet salad, chicken sandwich, and the spice cake. It was all wonderful. A true surprise to find a place like this in the area. It would easily fit into Dallas where we are from!! We will definitely be coming

This was such a delightful evening. The atmosphere and service was wonderful. We shared the grilled cheese, the focaccia and grain bowl. All were superb! We will be back.

We love Gather! This was a much needed addition to the Sawyer food scene. Yes, the menu is a QR code and you order your food and drinks through it. I suppose some people don't like that concept but I found it very easy, especially when it came time to pay the bill. Ambiance is upscale rustic and very cozy. Cocktails are unique, food is outstanding. Several things rotate on the menu but they always the fried chicken sandwich, which is a personal favorite. I also had a mushroom risotto there recently that was exceptional. Love this as a place to take friends and family!

In town for Thanksgiving and stopped in to have our favorite drink, the Modern Old Fashion made with muddled cherries and orange and Woodford Reserve!

Beware, there are no prices on the menu. Be prepared for spending a lot. Got 3 sandwiches, an ice tea, and 2 waters. The bill came to $70 plus tip. The food was good, but nothing special, the service was very good.

Wow! Austin greeted us as soon as we sat down. Brought fresh water, explained the ordering system, answered all questions, and just overall a wonderful human being. Food was fabulous. Unique dishes that were full of flavor. The drink menu is impeccable. I think I found my new favorite place to eat.

So many reviews are focused on their self-service model, but if you're local to the area, you know how rare it is to find a restaurant with food this insanely good! Everything we've ordered has been out of this world, from small and large plate to cocktails, this place is one of the best restaurants in SW Michigan. They never have a wait and their decor and vibe is on point! Will always come back!

I really don’t understand why people are so dramatic over the service here in the reviews. You scan the QR code and then just order what you want…. It’s literally not difficult, and takes maybe 5-10 minutes and then you can put your phone away and enjoy your meal. It’s not like there’s no staff whatsoever. You’re greeted at the door and then a super friendly staff member comes over to explain a few things, brings water, etc. He was great and willing to answer any questions. The issue we had is just the price of everything. My boyfriend ordered a beer and got maybe half a beer poured into a glass for $6. I mean, it’s just expensive. We would have been okay with that if they didn’t also expect you to tip. Why would I tip a server when there is no server? That truly makes no sense. I thought the high prices were because they don’t expect a tip.Overall, the food really was great, and the atmosphere is incredible.
