I had an amazing experience with the GPAA. I pondered adopting Milton for a couple weeks and finally scheduled a meet and greet. I was able to take him home the same day and the staff was more than amazing. This is an excellent facility and I highly recommend it!

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I found a kitten and the lady told me to just put it outside since they didn’t have space. The kitten is super young and I don’t have any space to keep him. I live a few streets down to this location so I am able to walk but the lady told me to go to a location an hour away though I said I didn’t have transportation. A heartless and extremely rude facility.

I went on Friday and it says it’s open, I went in and she said “the door is open but the walk through isn’t”… then why is it listed??? Then she was rude talking about “you see we are recording a tv report” . I was just a confused customer wanting to understand why it says it’s open and it’s not… do not go on Friday. Also we were black so you know how that goes…

All around bad experience And out of the 2 dogs we've tried to adopt over 2 months. Didn't end up getting either one of them because of the staff and the foster care parents bad bad experience. I really feel sorry for the animals that need homes.

Racial profiling at its finest. I went to adopt a stray puppy and was treated like I was the help.....I left there and paid $1500.00 cash for a dog I deserved, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere ?

Excellent facility. We found our forever dog there. Everyone is professional and experts in their field. Our Mack has transitioned very well to our home, our Golden-doodle, and us. PS: they have an open house every Saturday. Contact them to be sure before you make the trip.

Dropped off a small dog I found running around harper woods. Spoke with owner Kurin. She was very nice and assured me that she would make sure she would try to find the owner and not just adopt it out to just anyone.
