I went into the Kroger market at 20903 Harper and 8 mile on 6/4/2024 to pick up some ice. Upon entering the store I was over whelmed a horrible smell. The store smelled of rotting produce. Quite frankly the smell was like rotting (collard greens). The customer service personnel and the customers were acting like they were oblivious to the smell. Avoid shopping at this Kroger because a smell like that is a red flag that the produce is not fresh, and the area is unsanitary. Yuck.

This one is my favorite Kroger to shop at the other ones never have stuff on the shelves. I love their fresh sushi, and salmon and they sell wine. I love the cashiers and managers, especially Miss Toni always cheerful.

Stopped to get a couple of items for my wife. She wanted the Mexican corn that was on the display at the door. The display was empty so I went to the customer service desk. They called for produce. Brian showed up in less than a minute. I asked about the corn. He scanned and checked for me. He told me it looks like some just came in on the truck. He went to look for it. Cane back and told me it would be a minute because it was at the bottom of the pallet. A few minutes later, he came back with the item. Super cool, super nice guy. Brian is definitely A-1 with me. AND my wife gets the corn she wanted. Winning all the way around!

I shop at Kroger's because I am familiar with the store,but when look closely there are some weaknesses. The produce is high and not much of selection.meat high as you know what. I buy my meat at Costco and my produce too. I hate shopping so I get a month supply there.

A year later , i am here to say that the deli and 1of its employees are just not working for me. You must buy the prepay, if your product is not available, no one want to serve you. Just close thr deli. There is also that they do not sell enough , so thendeli neat is a bit old
