Kent Sail Co did a fabulous job of repairing our Mylar sail, which was chewed up at the rope edge that runs up into the channel. Our Megabyte was made in China and the specifications were not well done. We had been spraying the rope edge with silicone to be able to raise the sail and it still got really frayed. Kent Sail Co not only repaired the sail, they used a slightly smaller rope so it runs very smoothly up the channel. Yes, we tried it out in the driveway. And in addition, Kent Sail Co made us a Dacron sail, again with a smaller diameter rope, which will be the sail we use most. They added a gold/orange band across the sail in the middle for interest and we are really happy with the work they did. They included the battens, sail bag, and Mylar window and for all the work they did, we paid less than it would have cost us to get a new Mylar sail, which was no longer available anyway. We are highly satisfied with the work done by Kent Sail Co and highly recommend their services. I would include photos, but Apple changed the format of photos on all their phones and I can no longer retrieve them.
