Avoid this Rite Aid if you can help it. The employees never fail to showcase their rudeness and incompetence. If you're picking up a prescription here, be prepared to wait around ten to fifteen minutes for assistance, because the pharmacist will completely ignore your presence for as long as they possibly can. Every single employee wears a permanent scowl on their face. They are miserable, careless, condescending people who don't deserve employment at any establishment. During my last visit (and believe me, I won't be back), I was in a rush and forgot my face mask at home, so I wrapped a scarf around my face when I entered the building. One of the workers snapped at me like I was a child. She essentially told me to grab a mask from the front counter or get out. The only reason they're still in business is because pharmacies are fairly scarce in this area. Providing decent customer service is never on their to-do list.

This is my neighborhood pharmacy. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I end up stopping in here about 5 times a week for something or other, sometimes more than once in the same day. I've been living in the area for about 20 years, which means I've been here hundreds of times. As with any Rite Aid, you'll find a good selection of just about everything here. It's usually a little bit more than you would pay at a supermarket, but you do pay for the convenience. With their wellness+ plan, you can save up to 20%, so the prices do end up becoming very competitive. You have to spend a fair amount to get that discount, although the cost of your pharmaceuticals definitely gets you to that threshold quickly. I have to say, this is the first time I am doing a review in response to other peoples reviews. I think the common element here is that people are expecting happy, bright, cheerful people every time they come in to have their pharmaceutical needs tended to. Some people here are like that, but others might take a while to warm up to. You know, just like people in any profession. I actually like every person that works at Rite Aid, from the pharmaceutical staff to the cashiers. Andy is a good guy, even if he may not come across that way when you first meet him. I guess after you've seen someone a few hundred times, you start to get used to the personality a bit. I can understand being upset when someone at a pharmacy makes a mistake, but here's a crazy idea: tell them about the mistake so they can fix it! My daughter has a brain tumor, and she's had so many medications I can't even count. In all these years, I think they only made one mistake, and it was a minor one. So, if you really want to take your business elsewhere because the people here didn't kiss your butt sufficiently, that's your business. I totally trust my family's health being in the hands of these pharmacists. That's all that matters to me.

Nine times out of ten the pharmacy employees are incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have even been handed a different person's Rx, even after verifying my name and birthday. Unbelievable. I'm convinced the only reason they are still open is because there are no other pharmacies nearby this neighborhood.

If you use this pharmacy, be prepared to put your health in the hands of some very unprofessional unreliable people. Their biggest problem is they will NOT communicate with each other, or your doctor or a secondary pharmacy. I've over heard countless juvenile conversations regarding customers. Watch out for a employee named Andy and a older woman with brown/grey hair both work afternoons. I understand some people hate their jobs but these two will SURELY make a negative impact on your day. I put up with this pharmacy because of my lack of transportation I hate it. Beware.
