La Mexicana de Pancho is an absolutely splendid and authentic taqueria situated in the back of a small Mexican grocery store. The food is legit, with homemade everything, including delicious homemade tortillas. They have all the hard-to-find favorites like lengua and chicharron, plus standard carnitas, pollo, and barbacoa. The tacos and gorditas are stuffed to the brim and sooooo delicious, served with fresh salsa y limones. The arroz y frijoles is a standout, with perfectly cooked, saucy beans. Guests can also find baked goods, dried chilies, mole sauce, and refreshing frozen treats in the store. The staff is friendly. Many customers, having tried an assortment of items from the menu, leave more than satisfied and plan to definitely be back, considering it the best found in Michigan and worth a long drive.
Our group had an assortment of different items off of the menu and all of us left more than satisfied. We will definitely be coming back.

Been looking for an authentic place like this for years. Amazing burritos, friendly staff and you can just tell everything is home made. Worth the hour drive and we will definitely be back!!
