Beautiful park with public access swimming and boating. Beautiful observation dock over the water, with benches. Play equipment for kids, courts for multiple sports, well kept restrooms, and a concession stand while in season.

Granted, it's 11 a.m. and there is only one family making subtle sounds... There's a gentle breeze brushing against my back as I sit on a bench facing the lake. The sun is shining, and the weather is sweet. It's so peaceful right now that I'd rather stay all day if it weren't for the groceries I just bought. No need for salmon going bad and reeking up my car with that fish stank ?

Do NOT eat the fish here. They are highly contaminated with PFAS. The state of Michigan is currently trying to find the source of the contamination. Some pumpkinseed sunfish caught here in 2020 had over 100 times the safe level of PFOS chemical in them, and this would cause cancer in people who ate it.

Beautiful. Im only giving them 3 stars because when i got there I brought my puppy, not realizing that dogs were not allowed in the beach area, so I went to taker back because I wanted to be by the beach. When I went back the same day and the Saturday aftet, there were people with their dog swimming in the water and no one told them anything. I saw the park personnel walking right by them, and no one ever said anything. I told my husband that I guess we were not the right color.Restrooms: Bathroom were cleanPicnic area: They have grill

My family loves coming to this lake/park. There is a large area to set up chairs and beach gear. The concessions are very reasonably priced. The lake itself is always very clean and is such a big area that you aren't clustered together. It's just a really relaxing place. I love that the water cones right up to the sidewalk so I can sit there with my feet in the water. They are making a lot of upgrades to it currently and I can't wait to see the finished result. Plus, for Ingham county residents it's only $3 and since we live in eaton county we pay $5. I find this very reasonable.Playground: Very big playground for various age groupsRestrooms: Bathrooms have several stalls. They aren't very well lit and could definitely use some improvements but at least they are functional and don't stink.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed but not right by the waterPicnic area: There are grills and picnic tables spread throughout in areas a small distance from the water.

This park is absolutely beautiful.... Not quite like it used to be when it had a roller coaster and ferris wheel ... But darn close. The workers were all very friendly especially the man at the entrance and the park and beach were very clean. Highly recommend to everyone especially families.

Gorgeous day at Lake Lansing today.Wonderful park, currently being upgraded. Awesome fishing last evening!3 years ago: Nice place to have a lazy afternoon or fish or play.Dog-friendliness: Dogs need to be on a leash and not on the beach or at the pavilion. My dog loves to hang out with me fishing on the really really nice wooden pier they upgraded last year.Picnic area: Lots of great picnic areas with grills and plenty of shade.

Love the new development project! The water is nice and warm and calm, always a nice place to go during the summer. They even have a bike track which I think is really cool. Probably the best park in Meridian!
