So, just this past New Year’s your online hours showed that you had reduced hours on New Year’s Eve, which I believe was true, but it also showed you were open for regular business hours on New Year’s Day. That was wrong. Fast-forward to today, January 9, 2025, the post office is closed, but once again your online Google Listing says you are open. Constant mistakes like this kill real businesses. But unfortunately, government run businesses don’t need to worry about customer service or accuracy.

I ordered winter boots for my granddaughter, delivered directly to my daughter’s house. The package was literally submitted as “delivered to front door or porch” by the mail carrier, then returned to the post office as Undeliverable! She was not notified that this package was waiting at the post office until the day after Christmas, when she discovered she had TWO months worth of packages that had never been delivered!

Called about missing packages. Denise answered the phone and already sounded agitated. She was rude and argued with me about how many packages were actually delivered (3 out if 8) all Christmas presents. She then proceeded to tell me she really doesn't care, and that the computer shows them all delivered. I've got 5 packages floating out there. I also had a sign and a box set out and they left the three packages at the neighbors house. And yes I checked the whole neighborhood drive for my missing boxes.

Best service ever! The woman working behind the counter was kind patient, and helpful. I was not looking forward to having to run in with toddler son but she was very helpful and even distracted him with a book while I was filling out overnight shipping info. Best experience I've had in a post office and Best customer service experience I've had since moving to Hastings 2 years ago

Our package was out for delivery on Jan. 15. Finally on the 19th my husband called and it had been sitting at the p.o since the 15th with wrong address written on it. It wasn't the wrong address and it finally was delivered on the 20th. It was his medicine which he was almost out of. No wonder they are going broke.

Horrible customer service. They instruct people with prepaid labels to leave packages on the counter and then don’t ensure every package is scanned in. The employees working aren’t willing to assist at all and tell you there is nothing they can do, and are rude about it. Don’t work in customer service if you aren’t willing to help. I will never be using Hastings post office again.
