Called about missing packages. Denise answered the phone and already sounded agitated. She was rude and argued with me about how many packages were actually delivered (3 out if 8) all Christmas presents. She then proceeded to tell me she really doesn't care, and that the computer shows them all delivered. I've got 5 packages floating out there. I also had a sign and a box set out and they left the three packages at the neighbors house. And yes I checked the whole neighborhood drive for my missing boxes.

Best service ever! The woman working behind the counter was kind patient, and helpful. I was not looking forward to having to run in with toddler son but she was very helpful and even distracted him with a book while I was filling out overnight shipping info. Best experience I've had in a post office and Best customer service experience I've had since moving to Hastings 2 years ago

Our package was out for delivery on Jan. 15. Finally on the 19th my husband called and it had been sitting at the p.o since the 15th with wrong address written on it. It wasn't the wrong address and it finally was delivered on the 20th. It was his medicine which he was almost out of. No wonder they are going broke.

Horrible customer service. They instruct people with prepaid labels to leave packages on the counter and then don’t ensure every package is scanned in. The employees working aren’t willing to assist at all and tell you there is nothing they can do, and are rude about it. Don’t work in customer service if you aren’t willing to help. I will never be using Hastings post office again.

Will not accept packages / Shipping label that isn't by them at all that is very unhappy with the service an then tried to ask if I paid for the tape like really you think I would steal from you that wasn't right at all an the package / shipping label was fine just cause it said UPS, FedEx on it doesn't mean you can't take it an ship it out... You guys deliver UPS, FedEx packages everyday why not take em to or better yet don't want to take them then stop delivering for UPS, FedEx an see how much money you will lose then..... with this being said im not happy with the service at all.....

Our regular carrier Shelley(sp?) could not be a nicer person. She often carries packages up to the door or porch when they are too big for the mailbox. Every time I go into the Hastings PO they do their job, and sometimes more. Be careful when packing large and heavy packages but that is true of any shipping service. I have nothing but praise and respect for the PO.

Mail carrier left packages at the end of my driveway on the ground. My house is at least a football field from where they left the packages. In addition to leaving them in this location the note for tracking says my packages were on the front porch! If you can't deliver packages leave a parcel pick-up notice in the mail box. Don't lie! Better yet, if you can't fulfill your job duties get a different job! Seriously.

The man at the counter was nice, and was understanding of me shipping for the first time. Everything was relatively easy and the man behind the counter was very nice and pleasant to talk with.

Older "gentleman" at the counter. Very rude. Made me feel as if i was ruining his day by just entering the Hastings building. Management should remind him that not all people understand the mailing system and to educate the customers and to educate him how to talk to people-for which i asked for help, and I had the response of eye rolls and a sassy response. And after about 5 minutes, i left to him saying, "ya...come back when you know what your talking about." I also asked for tape, he turned around, looked at the tape dispenser, looked back at me, and said we dont do packaging and to come back with it all taped up. A lady customer after me, had the same rude interaction with this rude man.
