Was in yesterday with a high psych client who had difficulties at the register and the cashier had the patience of a SAINT. Very nice young African-American man late 30s? He needs recognition for the way he handled the situation and also the way he treats people in general is kind, sweet, caring. Why can't all cashiers be this way?!???

Stopped in today to grab a few items I was donating to a family in need. I picked up a 2 pack of dove deodorant. The bigger size said $5 and smaller said $7.50. I assumed it was sale. The cashier rang it up as 7.50 I informed her the price on the shelf said $5 we walked over there she said yep it's in the wrong place. I asked to speak to a manager and her response was " I am and I am telling you right now I will not adjust the price you either want it or you don't!" Her attitude as a "manager" was horrible. Your staff made a mistake not me. I know Mr Bill would never talk to a customer in that manner. She was rude was another customer that was there ahead of me. Hope the owner's know the type of people they have as management! Sad there are so many people that would take her job and do it with a smile unlike she had.

Stolen Pick Up Order! DO NOT PLACE A PICK UP ORDER HERE! Manager claims the order isn’t there and was picked up. But it was pick up after the store was closed?

My 8 year old was asked to put his school backpack behind the counter. We left! Policy or not! Which I doubt it is! You could at least greet us first!

Everytime I go in I'm always Greeted by store Associates..Very Friendly..Can answer my questions and actually direct me where to go to find what I need..I like Our Dollar General..Excellent Customer Service!

The clerk overcharged me $5.00 today for 2 lighters. I said something when he said $6.46 when the sign said .$80. refused to give me my receipt, was screaming at me at the tops of his lungs when I asked for a copy of my receipt so I could just call their Corp office. its not the money. its the principal. And he had the audacity to lie and say I became irate and belligerent when in fact I remained perfectly calm. I called the police and was able to get a refund, but again, he's clearly stealing and I was just the normal loyal customer I have been for years. I'll never go there again.
