Decided to try out a new hair salon.I normally go to Great Clips over on State Street; I normally pay only $18. Maxine’s charged me $20 for a worse haircut. What I normally get from my regular hairdresser is on the left. What I was left with after Maxine’s is on the right; half an eyebrow and a terribly faded haircut with hard lines and uneven sides. The first picture is a what my hairdresser at great clips gives me. The rest is the mess Maxine’s left me with. Will give him credit that the side my next tattoo is on looks decently faded definitely better than the other side.

Yesterday I had the absolute worst hair cut in my entire life, at this salon. I think the woman’s name who cut/destroyed my hair, was Marissa, I showed her a photo of the hairstyle I wanted, and requested my hair be about a half inch longer than the actual photo, because my hair shrinks up so much when dry. My hair is almost two inches shorter than the photo, and the style is NOTHING like the photo.
I look like a mushroom head! I’m so embarrassed! I won’t be leaving my house for about a month or more, until my hair grows out some.
My hair was almost down to my waistline, and now I have about an inch of hair on my neck ?. I wanted it shoulder length! I’ve never seen a hairstylist get a cut soooo wrong. It’s horrible. Absolutely horrible. I will never ever never ever go back to Maxine’s Salon. I would advise you to stay far far away from that salon.

Took a chance and I'm so glad I did! I've spent crazy money at fancy salons and walked out disappointed. I called maxines and they got me in same day. Liz was AWESOME. I got the exact cut and style that I wanted and everyone is so friendly and inviting.

Garrett did an amazing job on my hair. I am new to the area and have been hoping to find a hair dresser that I connect with. He made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. He listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I would highly recommend this establishment and will be returning as soon as I need a touch up!
