My cats are well cared-for by the vets and staff at Highland Vet. Their gentle and friendly demeanor and the clean, efficient office is the right place to be.

Do not recommend at all. Front desk staff super nice though. Cindy is so kind. Very expensive though and misdiagnosed my puppy. Took him somewhere else and it was caught right away thank God. Wasted a lot of money here.

I've brought both of my dogs to Highland Vet and they are very different in their dispositions. My 95lb GSD was extremely scared and they took every precaution they could to calm her. My old 12lb Shitzhu (who loves everybody) is much easier to deal with and they greeted her warmly and she kept giving them tail wags and kisses. I highly recommend.

My cat had a medical emergency and I brought him here, as this is the closest veterinary office to our house. All of the staff here are some of the most kind, compassionate and understanding professionals I have ever interacted with. Everyone I talked to was kind, made sure I was informed about everything that was going on, made sure I was made aware of all the options we had. We unfortunately had to put my cat down, and in that tough process everyone was so kind and compassionate, and I truly cannot thank them all enough for making a terribly difficult situation, a little easier to deal with. Will definitely be recommending this office to everyone I can.

We have taken multiple pets(2 cats) to this location. The staff there are very kind and accommodating. They don't try to push anything on you they inform you of the stuff they are doing/ willing to do.

I love this office. They had this adorable sign welcoming my dog as a new patient. Amanda, the doc, and Sara were very nice, informative, and thorough.

I’m extremely frustrated. My dog has been here 3 times and each time for the same problem. He has a rash all over his body that won’t stop getting worse. I have now spent over $1500 at this vet trying to help the rash and it has only gotten worse. Each time we go it’s a different doctor and they tell us something different. They need to learn how to coordinate and actually test my dog. They haven’t taken a scrape sample of the rash once. They have only taken a look at the rash once and the other times they just assume they know what they are discussing. I’m tired of spending money on items that aren’t working. I’m a college student and don’t have all of this money to waste. Super upset.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. My dog is a rescue and she’s anxious. They quickly adapted and made her as comfortable as possible. Everyone from the checkin lady to the veterinarian was amazing.

Great vets and staff. I'm from mid Missouri. Vet cost there are a lot cheaper. BUT for this area...I can't really complain.

I wasn’t going to write this but Kathleen didn’t call to follow up on the ridiculous incident today so here it is. The usual Vet Dr Myers is out for the week. The person who made our appt should have told us we would have the Rent-a-Center vet fill in Dr Jill Duncan. I would have rescheduled. We have a great rapport with the staff and our two large dogs. We’ve spent thousands over the last year here.So Jill came in the room and asked immediately if we “gave the trazadone” (for a nail trim). Excuse me what trazadone?! The trazadone that was RX’d for him before his neuter 6 months ago or the leftovers from his sisters prescription for her surgery last month??? Because we don’t have any trazadone ma’am nor were we told to pre-medicate for this appointment. She then proceeded to argue with my husband that she was “in charge here” putting her hand up and that he “had growled already.” He absolutely had not growled once.I honestly think she was assuming and breed discriminating on top of having an awful attitude because although Bruno is a Rottie he is the sweetest thing on the planet and known as being very un-Rottie like and silly. He was already muzzled SITTING CALMY not making a peep. She then wanted to move us to the back area “because the room was crowded.” My husband tried to tell her thats not going to work because there are cats wondering around all over back there. He loves cats. She wouldn’t stop repeating that she was the Vet and that she was in charge (weird flex). It de-escalated from there and we left after a yelling match-fun.This woman’s energy is awful. Ive been a nurse for 20 yrs and have seen some pretty awful bedside manners. This was up there. The correct action would have been for the office manager (who just kept repeating that she “was the office manager but didn’t witness anything”) to call me and discuss. Instead you lost 3 patients.
