Pharmacist and a few of the techs are very nasty when asking questions. Also they are over charging for medications just because they are on back order. Took my script some where else and paid over 80%less than what they wanted. Definitely bad business

It's so nice when the pharmacist knows your name. All the staff are friendly and efficient.

This review is directed towards the pharmacy of the Rite Aid; not the cashiers, etc.The issue I have with the pharmacy is the attitude from some of the pharmacists I've talked to over the phone. In addition, saying my prescription would be available during this set time and was not. Finally, not informing me after receiving the prescription that it wasn't covered under my insurance. For starters, my prescription was written in the middle of July, and the pharmacy said they got my prescription, but the medication was on back order and not available when I went in to see about picking it up. Understandable. However, the pharmacist said it would be available in August the next week I returned to see if it was available.I would call in once a week in August, preferably before noon, to see if my prescription was available. More than half the time, I was met with an irritated and carefree attitude from the pharmacists.September 1st comes around and I call the pharmacy to check to see if they had the medication supplied because the prior pharmacist said it would be available in August. The lady I spoke with was nice, and said to call after 2:30pm because their delivery would come in and they should have it. I call after 2:30, and she said that they did not get the medication.I then transferred my prescription to another pharmacy, where they had my medication available the same day. However, the medication I was prescribed was not covered under insurance because it was a name brand medication; which they also told me it wasn't covered the same day. I got my prescription changed the following day, where the pharmacy had my new prescription. No issues having my medication supplied, no rudeness over the phone or in person.I feel as though, the pharmacy shouldn't have told me my medication would be available in August. Also, they could've told me the medication wouldn't be covered under insurance before waiting for the medication to come in. I understand having frustrating days or 'inconveniences', but when I feel as though I'm talking to someone who doesn't seem to not care or is rude, that's an issue to me. Especially, when I question myself before I call if the pharmacist I'm going to be talking to before I call in is going to be nice or not.

Store associates have always been friendly but the pharmacy (one tech in particular) is very rude. I’m not one to post reviews let alone poor ones but the service was awful every time. I’m glad we’ve switched to a neighboring Rite Aid pharmacy where they actually treat you with respect.

Very pleased this Rite Aid store carries my particular brand and color of makeup. Paid less for same exact makeup, previously purchased at other pharmacy/retail stores. Store was clean and cashier was polite, friendly and patient. Put a smile on my face and made my day. Thank you.

Poor Pharmacy Service. Wife had 2 COVID injections at this location, and two at another location. No issues with the off-site injections, but BOTH shots administered by the old pharmacist at THIS led to her developing SIRVA (severe injury related to vaccine administration). It’s been more than 4 months and she is still unable to sleep on her side where the shot was administered, and daily she experiences deep pain from the site itself which causes her great distress. Family physician stated he did the injection incorrectly, and the result was damaged ligaments and muscle tissue. Nothing that can be done about it, but if they’re not able to do the injections right, he should be removed from service.

I’m a teen girl with autism and I stopped in this rite aid to get sodas for me and my friends. My credit card wasn’t working and the cashier (old man) began shouting at me. I left, after several minutes of berating, in tears. I used to work in retail so I completely understand that employees have bad days, but please don’t take it out on your customers, especially when you don’t know what’s going on in their lives.

The pharmacy needs to make changes. They are slow and had issues concerning checking insurance policies. They told me my insurance was dropped a month ago (WallGreens nor my Dr office had this problem....huh).Moreover, whenever I have needed medications, they have to be "ordered." Today I was told they were too late getting my script in (after I was told it would be ready in 10 min.)....that it'll be in 3 days. Lol Wall Greens (across the street) seem to have meds in stock. The tech here should quit if he can't handle the job.....the rude clueless girl answering their phone needs to be trained. * I was parked in the drive through lane for 45 min. Waiting to be told I didn't have insurance (100% wrong! )...... I'm not sure what happened, they were great 3 years ago.

I used to go to Walgreens across the street, but since they changed their hours to opening at 9 am. I come here now. I can't say I am more satisfied with their selection than Walgreens, but the fact they are open at 7 am has me coming there before work for something extra in my lunchbox. Thanks for having normal hours!!
