Everything was fine until a few weeks ago when new staff arrived and they changed the entire system! My son has been in this daycare for 4 years and due to the new changes in the schedule, chaos has arisen... people work and have their established schedules, I don't understand how to get there from one day to the next and change everything

Overall a pretty good place, we've been going here for a while now. Staff are nice and pleasant to interact with, kids are treated well and learn a lot during their time at daycare. The biggest problem with the Holland location is the security. I and other parents have complained for a while now about the front door not closing and locking shut. I personally have escalated this four times over the last year and the door STILL does not function properly. The last thing they did was take a grinder to the base of the door to remove some type of interference, it worked for a few months but as of this week the door is still not working. Other things to note regarding the security of this place-People walk in off the street. The last time the door wasn't working a guy walked in off the street looking to use the bathroom. My wife witnessed a staff member kick him out.For a while they had a sign on the door "make sure the door closes behind you" -- WHY are we doing this rather than just FIXING THE DOOR!?!If it continues I'm removing my kids from this place and escalating to the MI Dept of Child Services.

I had my daughter there for months and one day I pick her up I was asked to sign a form for an accident so I did they said she was bitten I was never called I wasn’t notified I was told they don’t notify you unless it’s a hospital need, I disagree 100% they knew this was wrong. She has a scar now. I’m sure she probably cried her eyes out. I will never forgive this place for that.

I have both my children with Childtime. Especially now through these unprecedented times they met parents with understanding and support. They care above and beyond for the children. All teachers are very friendly. I would again choose Childtime if I had to make the choice!

I am surprised at the negative reviews people have posted. This place has been an answer to prayers for us. We experienced two different day care facilities, both of which closed down. We were so lucky to find a spot for our first child in this Childtime and have since brought our second child there. The teachers and directors are all amazingly wonderful people with unlimited love and patience towards all the children. The kids are constantly learning new things. They have a curriculum program for each age group and are responsive and empathetic towards each child's individual needs. The safety measures they have in place have also given us a true sense of confidence that our children will remain safe and healthy while in their care. I cannot say enough good things about this center. When you've seen what a bad daycare is, it's a blessing to be able to send your kids to an amazing one like the Childtime of Holland. Put your trust in them - you won't be disappointed.

I have to be honest... reading the other reviews on here sounds nothing like the amazing place I bring my son to for daycare. The teachers are absolutely AMAZING along with the director. For this being my first child and having to send him to daycare I have to admit at first I did not trust anyone with him. He's been threw 3 different rooms there with different teachers and they are all absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough good things about Childtime.

We have been with Childtime for years now. No daycare is perfect but they have always had great, motivated directors interested in engaging the kids and family. The teachers are passionate and know all of the kids and families by name. Would highly recommend!

I personally would rate this a zero star if they had one based off my personal experience! On February 20th, 2018 I had to drive my daughter to the emergency room to get seven stitches in her forehead from the directors son dropping a block on her head. I will never forget my three year olds screams pleading to her father to make the doctors stop. I felt compelled to write this review today for the simple fact she is now getting made fun of for her permanent scare on her forehead. They launched an internal investigation, but nothing came of it of course. I just thought everyone should know before signing their children up to a place like this. This company just bought out light house early learning academy. They were in the transition. Nothing happened, and there were no repercussions.

No one greets you upon arrival. Most the time there isn’t even someone sitting there monitoring whose coming and going. Very unorganized, and smells bad. I sent my daughter here for one summer. Never again! At the time I also reserved a spot for an infant as I was expecting When I enrolled my oldest. I Was told I’d receive a call when there was an opening for the infant room. NEVER received that call! It’s been 6 months since I had planned on enrolling. They seem to always be short staffed. The teachers seem overwhelmed. Not many options in Holland for daycare. This is the cheapest for a reason. I would never send my kids here again.

I would NOT recommend this childcare facility. I was skeptical when I first sat down with the director and had a tour.My almost 2 year old attended and was only there for not even 3 full weeks. Each week there was a RED FLAG.One day I watched during my sons nap time during my lunch break and his teacher Carrie roughly laid my son down THREE times while "training" an individual, and decided to forcefully place her elbow into the back of his neck and forced him into the floor to stay laying. This lady was out of work the night before because she was home with a sick kid, so I'm sure very tired and irritated!! But unfortunately my son was the one who was punished for her sleepless nights. AND NOT ONCE, did the other lady stop her and say lets trade spots or hey do NOT do that, NOT ONCE. When I complained and sat down with the director of the facility, she decided to give a tour and step away from a crying, hurting mother ! NOT only unprofessional, but very noticeable that she does not have kids. Anyone could've done the tour, but she did not want to support the fact that this was NOT OK.I sent my child here for the convenience, NEVER again will I not listen to my gut when something doesn't feel OK. I thank GOD he allowed me to be watching at that time. Now, my son suffers from being terrified to lay down for a nap. Please keep us in prayers. And please don't send your children here !

I would not recommend this place, my 14 month grand daughter went here for 3 weeks and they strapped her in a chair for 1.5 hours on more than 1 occasion and she couldn't move. She also roamed around crying and using sign language to ask for her pacifier and was not giving it, this place has cameras so you can watch them and I noticed this and called her parents who quit work to go and get her. This baby was a very happy baby and she became depressed and sad after attending here. This child has been attending baby sign language class for almost a year and she is very smart and can sign to ask or tell what she needs and the staff was asked to learn these signs but I guess choose to ignore her. I know the sign language and can clearly see what she needs. It is sad that a daycare place is not following rules of restraining a child and letting them cry. So sad and so bad!

The teachers (mostly teenagers instead of adults who either have kids of their own, or at least have experience) are lackadaisical about providing structure or support, and show no devotion or interest in their jobs or the kids. Every day when I picked up my child it was a different teacher in his classroom, and they never seemed to know which child belonged where. And none of them smiled or even seemed to care that they were watching 8-10 children. The atmosphere isn’t warm or inviting, but more lazy and unenthusiastic. It went from a very nice learning environment to more of a child holding playpen. Would not recommend under any circumstances.
