Hello, I just wanted to leave a review for Marissa Kaiser. She helped me with the purchase of my 2023 Mazda CX-9. Not only was she extremely helpful and patient, but she made me feel at ease because this was my first car purchase without having my husband or any other man to go with me. There was never any pressure or finagling. She's the best and I will continue to reach out to her for my next vehicle search.

Service user beware! Crowne Mazda did not honor their warranty and tried to defraud us. Our daughter’s 2023 CX-50 brakes were making some noise so we brought it in to be looked at. Her mileage was under 16000, and, thus under warranty. Despite being under warranty, Crowne charged us to look at the brakes and then advised us that all 4 rotors and brake pads needed replacing, which came to approximately $1500. This seemed very strange, at best, considering the age of the vehicle. We took it to Bekins in Grand Haven who advised us that the brakes were in good shape and NOT in need of replacement. We contacted the manager at Crowne with this information, but never received a call back. Bottom line, the service tech who gave us the inaccurate information is most likely still employed and advising rubbish to customers. Don’t waste your time or money. See below for Bekins assessment.

Went to buy a used vehicle there and had a horrible experience. Listing said it had a service warranty but when it came to signing was told that was an error. Had to wait over 3 hours to sign paperwork. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM CROWN. My personal mechanic said to avoid crown motors and I understand why.

I have been a customer at Crown Motors since 2010. I have purchased with great satisfaction 12 new cars and 2 certified used cars over the past 14 years. Crown has been the only service provider during this time. Craig Baas has been my go-to salesperson, not only during the purchases but mainly due to his personal aftersales support, and don't forget the free coffee!

My review is for my experience regarding the incredible service department. We towed our vehicle here because they would work with our extended warranty if needed, and they were able to get our vehicle in earlier than the company we originally scheduled our appointment with. Ryan was really good at communicating with us regarding what needed to be done regarding maintenance and replacing worn out parts. Gage (technician) did an amazing job, and even exceeded our expectations by getting the repairs done earlier than we expected. Our vehicle feels like it runs so much smoother and feels like a completely different car. We love that we received a complimentary car wash--my husband barely recognized our vehicle when he went to pick it up. After having so many bad experiences with dealership service departments, Crown Mazda was like a breathe of fresh air. I did not feel like they were pushy on extra maintenance that they felt needed to be done, on top of the services that we requested. The cost of all the maintenance we had completed felt reasonable and fair. I would definitely recommend the service department to anyone that needs their Mazda repaired or serviced.

We've purchased and/or leased a total of 4 cars from Crown since December 2020. We've worked with Trevor each time. He goes above and beyond for you to ensure you get the vehicle you want. We trust him which is why we go back to him each time we are in the market for a car. Yesterday we picked up our new Mazda and couldn't be happier with the car and the service from Trevor.

Got my car from here barely a year ago and it's already been in the shop 4 separate times within the year for so many different issues. I was sold a junk car and I'm extremely disappointed in the product I was sold.

We bought a Certified Honda Pilot from here at the end of January. The whole process of buying the vehicle was pretty good, can't complain on the purchasing of it. However once we drove off the lot is when the problems started. Two weeks after purchasing the BRAKE light kept coming on while driving, not the one that there is something wrong with the brakes but the light that comes on when you are getting to close to something. Every time that the light came on, there was nothing even close to the vehicle. After it happening numerous times, Crown finally said we needed to bring it in to get it looked at. So that is what we did, they called saying that the sensors on the front of the vehicle needed to get adjusted, so they did that. That fixed the problem. Forward to May, the Emissions System Problem and check engine light came on. Again after numerous times of the lighting coming on, they suggest we take it in, so we did. They ran the code and it said what the problem was. They said that they couldn't fix it because according to Honda a part has to "fail" the test before they fix the problem. Even though the light telling us there is a problem going on, they couldn't do anything. The service rep called with the news, in which Marcus, was very unpleasant to talk with, telling me that sometimes the customer wants something wrong with their vehicle and get upset when there isn't anything wrong with it. We had some very heated conversations with numerous people at Crown over this. They told us we must have had bad gas, that it was a fluke thing and the car must have fixed itself. Needless to say we left there with the intention of getting a second opinion. Before leaving they said that if the light comes back on, to bring it back and they will fix it. They also mentioned that the vehicle might need a transmission flush, that bad transmission fluid can cause this. When we bought the vehicle, we also bought an extended warranty, in which the transmission flush wasn't covered. They were constantly trying not to fix the problem, just put a band-aid on it. While on the way home from Crown, the Emissions System Problem and check engine light came back on, not even 10 mins after leaving. So the next day I went back and guess what, all the people we had talked to, since I wanted to show them the light was back on, weren't there. We told them that they should buy the vehicle back, that they have sold us a lemon. They wouldn't even buy it back!! So sad that they won't even stand behind one of their Certified Honda vehicles! Supposedly in order for a vehicle to get certified, it goes through a intensive inspection, one in which I don't think happened. Let just say, the vehicle has been nothing a LEMON. We will NEVER NEVER buy from them again, nor will we be suggesting anyone we know to buy from there.

I recently got the oil changed in my Honda Civic at a service station that I've been using for years. They informed me that my skid plate was extremely difficult to remove because the screws that were there were too tight, and in other places the screws were missing so zip-ties were used. I was confused because I always do my oil changes there, however, it was pointed out that the sticker on my windshield was from Crown Motors because they offered a "special" rate for an oil change so I took advantage of it. I called them to correct the problem with the skid plate and was told that they use zip-ties when they don't have the hardware. First of all, why wouldn't a dealership have the basic hardware, and why wouldn't they tell me if they didn't? I was told to make an appointment which would cost $50-$60 for parts/labor. Why am I paying for their mistake? I will not go back.

took my grand Cherokee in for 3 areas to get checked after the service tech "inspected" the vehicle the price was 5400.00 with numerous other things added to the invoice. I had them check the trans cooler lines-yep needed changed, check 2 electric connectors "it would take to long to sodder those wires so we will change out the whole wiring harness- 650+ dollars, 3rd item checked a vibration at 50-60mph that was because the drive shaft, transfer case are leaking and need replacemen. I called another dealership send them the invoice found out that they are charging the highest rate per hour for labor in the entire area including Grand Rapids, added items air filter 60.00 plus 21 to change it I have a KN filter, replace all fluids - never asked them to check it because it was just done. I was also informed by the other dealership that they are making up parts 20% from book price. DO not go here they will ripe you off.....
