Been coming here for over 30 years. Got my first set of wooden shoes when I was 16. My husband added a pair when we were 21, added our 3 daughters. Now added a pair for our granddaughter. The tradition continues. ❤

Maybe it's better during peak spring flower season but in the off season prepare to be incredibly underwhelmed. The shoe and pottery "factory" is pretty unkempt and the anthesis of family friendly. Stuff is pretty, but ludicrously expensive. I grew up near Fenton Glass and even they didn't have the gall to charge $12+ for mass made Chinese importated magnets. $25+ for a basic Christmas ornament!?I wish I could have captured my reaction when I pulled up at how bad it was. If you're traveling with older people, they'll probably love it. Not worth taking your kids to and it's not a stop I would add to my regularly stops in Holland.

Went when it wasnt during TULIP season. Which should not matter. Would have liked to get wooden shoes with names burned into them like i did as a kid. A bit disappointing. No one there to help with that.Price for entry: $40

Actually found many items here (like ornaments) elsewhere. Definitely factory like. Entrance felt ghetto.

One lady, that I assume was a manager super friendly. Friendly. Took a picture for us and very local, friendly and local knowledgeable, unsure about all the advertising for this place in the magazines on the internet on the city of Holland website, but it is free to go see it..... Probably in the late '80s early '90s. This place was jamming, but hasn't kept up with a times

The actual wooden shoe and Delft store is ok--but nothing that special-----------but if your there when the tulips are growing----then they have a farm in back--we saw 6 million tulips growing during Tulip Festival--awesome if your there then--( $20 to see the tulips )

Gardens are fabulous this year. Not sure they're worth the price of admission, but beautiful.

We brought our daughter and her son to get wooden shoes. My husbands Grandmother was an immigrant from Holland. This was a great place! We loved all the heritage items. And the shoes are made very well. They even engraved their names and date in their shoes! The staff was so kind and informative. A must stop if you are in Holland Michigan for a visit!

Nice store, and it was fantastic to see them painting the items.
