We were out of town on a holiday weekend when a neighbor noticed our lawn burning out. We called Evergreen and on short notice they came a fixed the problem which was a dead electrical outlet. Very responsive. great service to work with.

Evergreen installed the sprinkler system in my home 5 years ago when my home was built. I was led to believe that they would be available to repair the system as needed. They put a sticker on the controller with their number indicating they would be available for servicing my system. I called today for service and I was advised that since I had not had them service my system in 2 years they would not service my system any further. “They we’re too busy servicing their other customers.” I view this as a breach of the agreement. They made false promises to get my business. I would ask how many people would use this company for installation of their sprinkler system if they knew they would be on their own after it was installed. I am extremely disappointed. I have been scammed. I didn’t complain about paying too dollar but I did expect to be treated like a valued customer.

No proactive follow up. Start up demonstrated I needed a valve replaced and was told someone would follow up to schedule replacement because allegedly the tech did not have the parts. Three follow ups from me and am finally told it will be two more weeks or three weeks since the start up. I get that this is a busy time but a failing valve is not an unusual item.

We bought a house in Grand Haven and found that one of the zones was not working correctly while we were still waiting to move in. We had a service call done and after not being able to figure out the problem, they recommended that we put in a whole new sprinkling system because ours was old. When we moved into the house, on our own we put in a new control head for $140 and a couple small parts and now it is working fine. I felt like they did not fully diagnose our system and were trying to vastly up-sell us hoping we knew nothing about sprinklers.

We've used this company at our new home for the last couple of years and since the change of management/ownership, their quality in service has declined. They tried charging us for 2 3/4hrs of work, when they were there for maybe 1/2-1 hr. I tried reaching out and spoke with Phil, who said he would speak with the tech and get back to me within the week. I hadn't heard anything from him a week and a half later, so I reached out again. He still didn't have an answer for me, but said he would re-look at the invoice and get back to me. He called back finally an hour later with his proposed resolve. Still was crap, but I don't have time to go back and forth, clearly it is not about taking care of their customers (because my sprinklers are still not up to par), but instead getting paid. The tech couldn't perform the requested service when he was there turning on the system for the season, his reason was he had court for personal matters. He said he would need to return to finish the work. They logged that the tech was there 4 different times for a total of 2.75 hours. The valve was not repaired the first trip, and they didn't do a complete check of the sprinkler heads to make sure they were all functioning properly (on any of the 4 trips!!). Most heads pop up, but spray erratically and a few don't even hit the yard, more so hitting the pavement or neighbors yard. I know it is something I could adjust myself, but we hired this company to service our sprinklers for us. We miss the old crew who treated our lawn like it was theirs! We have canceled our fall services with this company.

Sadly, I can no longer recommend this company. After twenty years of faithful, wonderful service, I have ended my contract with them. The company was sold by the original owners and the new owners are not customer service oriented. My last service call for winterization on my sprinkling system was unprofessional to say the least. Work boots worn in my home to shut off the water(the company does provide boot covers), the service person did not introduce himself and was unfriendly, three flower boxes were knocked off my deck and left in the yard overturned by the irrigation hose they use, I didn't even know the service man had left until I looked outside and the truck was gone. They usually knock on the door before they leave and let me know everything is all set and there were no problems. When I called the office to relay my issues, I was met by a very bland voice who gave a off handed apology. It was obvious she just wanted to get off the phone. I was given a service credit and asked if I wanted to end my contract. Wow! So much for a customer of twenty years! I'd look else where for a sprinkling company. Ask a lot of questions so you get the service you need and expect to pay for.

First class support and customer service today. Was turning on system for the summer and we needed some extra help getting our Rachio wireless controller reconnected to our network from over 2000 miles away. Troy went above and beyond to help and not only got the system turned on, but got our wireless controller reconnected. Highly Helpful and Highly Recommended!!
