I brought my mom here for Mother’s Day and wow what an amazing job Tessa did !! By far the best experience my mother said and her hair not only looks so good but feels so much healthier! 10/10 recommend this salon even all the other women were nice and seemed to have excellent results as well but I can only speak for Tessa ! You won’t regret getting your hair done here

Ellie asked me many questions to determine my goals. She made me feel comfortable and welcome. Plus the shampoo was AWESOME. Overall it was a great experience. I am really happy with my hair! Can't wait for my next appointment.

This is the second time I’ve had Emma cut my hair, and she’s done an excellent job both times. She listened to what I wanted and delivered the exact cut I was looking for. Throughout the process, she checked in to ensure everything was just right. The cut, blowout, and style all turned out great. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend her to others!

Mikayla was amazing!! She assessed my hair, asked multiple questions about what I wanted, how much time I have on a daily basis to style my hair, provided feedback on the health of my hair and made recommendations for products that would address my needs. She was careful, thorough, and gentle, even providing a tutorial reproduce the loot she created for me. I highly recommend GoldiLoxx!!!

Buckle in, because this is a long one. I went to GoldiLoxx 2 days before vacation, because of the great reviews and I am sad to say I cannot share my own great review. I went to Jenny for a root touchup (about 3 inches of roots to touch up) and bangs. It was my first time at that salon as I am newer to the Holland area.
Jenny was very sweet and nice, but did not listen to one word I said about what my hair needed to cover my grays. I advised that it needed to be saturated with color, and by saturated I meant sloppy wet like you just poured shampoo on it and you think, "That is far too much color." And that I was happy to pay for the extra color it would take to do that. I also told her that to ensure the color took, putting a cap on it and putting me under the dryer (if the color allowed for that, some color brands don't) and leaving on a little extra time and that works every single time.
When choosing the colors to mix, she started to mix a brown with a red to ensure the color would really take and match the rest of my hair. She then came back and said that the red had gray coverage in it, so she didn't have to use the brown. I literally said, "But won't that give me hot roots?" She said, "Oh no, it will be fine." It was not fine. She did none of those things, except put the cap on at the end after I reminded her. Didn't get put under the dryer. And I have hot roots.
The whole time she was putting the solution on my roots, I told her again and again that she was not putting enough color, repeating the saturation remark so much that I apologized if I was annoying, but I know from 54 years of having this hair that she was nowhere near saturating it. She just kept telling me it would be fine. I told her the gray was not going to be covered because she was not using enough product.
Just over 2.5 hours there and she is drying the roots to check the color and I have very prominent gray in my bangs still and going up the right side of my head, and god knows where else that I cannot see as easily. She was going to let me walk out of there and I said, "Uh, what about all this? It's still gray." and I pointed it out. She says something like, "Oh no! Don't worry, I still have extra color in the back. I will fix it and you won't have to have your whole head washed again." She starts putting color on those spots again, and again she is just barely putting anything there. I AGAIN repeated the saturation thing and she felt that because she was rubbing it into the hair, it would be fine.
Jenny offered to come in on her day off to fix the issue, but I did not trust her to fix it.
The owner reached out via text. She told me she could not help me, that Jenny said my gray was very hard to cover, that the stylists have to fix their own mistakes, and she gave me a refund. No offer to fix what her stylist caused (the hot roots), or to ensure my gray was covered. And the thing is, my grays get perfect coverage every single time if you LISTEN TO YOUR CLIENT. I was completely willing to pay for the extra product, so what was the big deal about putting extra and saturating the gray?? I wasn't asking for free stuff. Going to another salon is going to cost me even more for color correction. I asked the owner to fix it, OR to recommend someone else in the salon that I could PAY to fix it. I was very complementary about how nice the salon looks, and the high hopes I had of finding my new salon home in my town and it's so convenient to where I live. I just wanted my hair fixed. She has not responded and it has been almost a week since my email to her after I got to a place with a good signal. My only conclusion is that she doesn't care. I get backing up your stylist if they listened to the client and it still didn't work, but that is not the case here. Just had my first hair appointment at this salon and I will ABSOLUTELY be back. After doing some google searching I found this salon had the best reviews so I took a chance and booked an appointment. Im glad I did because they have my business for life. My stylist name was Ellie and she was a total sweetheart. She listened intently to every thing I wanted done and executed with perfection. On top of that they are very reasonably priced. If you are debating to try them out please do! You will not be disappointed.

I was looking for a salon a little closer to home and after doing some research, I arrived at Goldiloxx Salon. I made an appointment for a cut and color and when I walked in the door, I knew I was in the right place! The salon itself is beautiful and stylish, representing the talented women that work there. After discussing what we should do, I went with Tessa's recommendation and from then on never regretted it! I have had cuts, color, hair extensions and highlights. There isn't anything Tessa and her staff can't do! I highly recommend this salon!
