Heads up!!! if you order a small dining table with two matching chairs from Klingman's, be aware that the chair width could be the SAME as the space between the table legs, which causes rubbing each time the chairs are moved. Be prepared to duke it out with Klingman's several times before they finally allow you to return the set. Then be prepared to lose $104 because they want to charge you at least one way of transportation on their unacceptable furniture! Let me recommend that you save yourself the hassle and just go to Lowe's or Home Depot where you can order fine furniture for less than half the Klingman's price! Christine Freeman is the one positive note of encouragement in my Klingman's experience. She always does her best to please the client. I will miss you, Chris.

I have been working with Klingman’s to order bunk beds for my home since April of 2023. I’ve tried to give them every opportunity to get things right, but as it’s August I think I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt to correct issues with my order.I placed my order, and received an invoice on April 25th and was told by the sales associated deliver would be in about 6 weeks. I was hoping for an early June delivery. After placing the order I received no communication from Klingman’s. I reached out to my sales associate on May 23rd to check on the potential delivery date. After receiving no email response, I called a few days letter to learn that the associate I worked with was no longer at the company. I never understood how it could occur that this employee left and no one bothered to review her accounts to proactively reach out and inform customers that someone else would be a point of contact for their open orders.The individual that took my call was helpful in doing some research to determine the status of my order. Unfortunately, I was told my bed would not be available as previously estimated but would be delayed several weeks. My beds could have been delivered on June 26th if I was available.Due to some scheduling conflicts of my own I was not able to take delivery until Mid-July. Upon delivering the item I realized that what had been ordered was not what I asked for. I reviewed the order with the delivery driver and it became clear that there was an issue. The driver was helpful in communicating to the office to find a resolution and was extremely professional in a situation that was clearly awkward for all of us.What we discovered over the course of the next several days is that the employee I worked with made some notes in my customer record about what I wanted, but those notes were not aligned with the product that was actually ordered from the manufacturer. I was told several times that the furniture company delivered what was ordered in the system, but the employee requested the wrong item. What’s even stranger is that the invoice I have from April 25th includes the exact features I order, “Bunk beds with Ladders on the ends” but the product delivered had ladders on the side. To my eye, the invoice matched my expectations. I’m not sure how I as a customer would have know there was an issue.I expressed my concern that someone could have quality checked my order and was told they never would have found it because the employee that left put in the wrong order. That is true, however that’s not my concern. I just want what I asked for.It felt like everyone was throwing this employee under the bus. As a customer, I don’t really care if your employee was not performing, I don’t need to hear about their incompetence. I just wanted to find a way to correct my order.My issue was escalated to management. They found a partial solution to deliver some of what I needed, but I didn’t have my complete order. I was told that the manager would call the manufacturer and get an update by the end of the week (July 21st) and I’d be provided an update on a new delivery date.I never received a communication on July 21st as I expected. I sent an email on July 28th, one week after the date I was old I would be given an update asking for an update. I did not get a response to my email until August 7th. Between the 28th and 7th, (10 days) I would have appreciated even a note that said, “hey, I got your email but I am still confirm schedules.” My “update” came 17 days after I was told I would be updated and 10 days after I requested an update.On August 7th I was told that my furniture has still not shipped from the manufacturer and may or may not ship by the end of this week or possibly next week.I do hope this is a one-off experience, but based on my experience, I will not be shopping there again.As of August 23rd, no furniture, and I have recieved bills stating I am delinqient.Ocotober 6th, they attempted to deliver again. Tried assmeble my beds to discover they are still missing two parts.

I recently visited Klingman's to browse for furniture for a new house. Sales Associate Colleen Yuhn greeted me, asked great questions, and guided me to possibilities. She let me look on my own, but was there immediately to answer questions. After a second visit, with Colleen's expert and friendly assistance, I had purchase living room sofas and chair, dining room chairs, and an office chair. She is still working on items for me! Klingman's has a wonderful, wide selection of furniture, but their sales staff make the difference! Thank you!!

Sheri Potter, our design consultant is excellent: knowledgeable, experienced, and competent. She quickly tuned in to our aesthetics; consequently, we are fully satisfied with the quality and appearance of our purchases. We were so pleased with our initial experience that we returned for subsequent follow-on purchases.Klingman's, as a store/company, would have merited a 5-star review if our wait for delivery had been shorter. (The extended wait time is apparently a symptom of success that has caused the delivery arm of the organization to be overburdened.)

My fiancé and I were lucky enough to have found Sheri, a decorator at the Holland Klingmans, to help us select furniture for the first floor of our new home. From the moment we met her, Sheri was just wonderful to work with. She was able to get a grasp of our style while helping us to make selections that were just out of our comfort zone. The result was/is a stunning home that feels and looks exactly the way we were dreaming that it would. Sheri was a consummate professional who listened to our concerns and wishes and kept us abreast of the process every step of the way.We not only enjoyed working with her but would not consider her a friend whom we will certainly work with again when it’s time to furnish our lower level. She made sure that all of our selections were ready to be delivered as soon as our house was complete which gave us much needed peace of mind. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for some guidance and design inspiration for their home.

Great 5 star buying experience here. I got a nice captain's bed and a small desk for my bedroom, along with a fantastic sideboard credenza type thing the wife really likes.Bob was a fantastic salesperson who even came in on his day off to help us out because we were in a time crunch.I would recommend this furniture dealer to anybody who's interested in a vast selection, great customer service, and good quality furniture.

Excellent, helpful, and knowledgeable staff - Bob who assisted us in purchasing several pieces of furniture was very professional and thorough on his follow-up via email and by phone, which we had requested.The store is well stocked with a wide variety of furniture options for every room of your house. There are even some more unusual pieces that aren't run-of-the-mill. Well worth a visit!

Sheri Potter was a wonderful help to us as we went through the process of furnishing an entire new vacation home. Sheri has a great eye for design and color that led us to much satisfied results. She helped us find customized furniture to meet our style, house parameters, and our budget. We bought custom sofas, kitchen tables, sofa sleepers, headboards, and many more. She made sure we kept our design theme throughout the house with a great variety of fabrics and styles. Klingman’s offered us the full service we needed from design, warehousing, and delivery when our home was finally finished. Thanks.

Wow! Buyers beware. Stay away from John Thomas Select and Klingmans. The sales staff at Klingmans was very knowledgeable and helpful during the sale. However, once the sale is made, you are on your own should something go awry during the process. My wife and I purchased a special order dining room set made by John Thomas. We were told it would take 20 weeks to arrive. That was understandable given the nature of special orders. When delivered, John Thomas had manufactured the wrong table top. We notified Klingmans and was told to go on-line to register the error with Klingmans. No help from the Klingmans’ sales rep. Once the on-line information was filed, a rep from Klingmans called and said it could be another 20 weeks to manufacture the correct table top. Do you mean John Thomas is just throwing our original order back into the queue again with no consideration for their error? “That is very possible” was the response. Isn’t Klingmans supposed to act on my behalf and represent me to John Thomas? Ten months after the original purchase our table top is in. We are now awaiting a delivery date. The lack of after the sale support from John Thomas and Klingmans has been striking. This has been the most disappointing purchase transaction we have ever experienced.

They had plenty of nice furniture. Not sure they had anyone working there who could order custom furniture. I wasn't impressed and ended up going somewhere else. They were friendly, courteous, but waiting over an hour while they tried to write up 1 purchase wasn't a confidence builder. A custom purchase can't be returned and for that reason I went else where

I had been to two other furniture stores before Klingman's and klingman's was by far the best. I definitely contribute that to the salesperson, Colleen. She spent a lot of time and energy with me. She is very knowledgeable, patient and has sense of humor which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Colleen. In the future this store will be the first instead of the third store I visit when in the need of furniture.
