Once I pay my loan off I am switching.
Hate laketrust. Anytime I have any sort of issue I have to drive to a physical location. Their ONLINE SUPPORT SUCKS. All of their customer support is outsourced and you get stuck in hours of loops. Just canceled my card last week and it’s been 2 weeks with no replacement in the mail. Now I’ve got to drive around and find a location that can print me a new card.
I will never EVER be using laketrust again.
Also, you can’t even cancel your card within the app. You have to call their support and god knows how long that takes.

I have been a member of Lake Trust Credit I
Union since 2000.. thru three name changes. You have always handled my banking experience professionally, no matter what my needs are... whether greeting me when I enter the office, providing notary services or general banking services. Staff are always friendly and treat me like a long time friend. Thank you for always providing a positive banking experience.

Love this Credit Union. They are always so kind and helpful every time I stop in. Lake Trust has a number of great services that you can access at the branch and online.

They will charge you an overdraft fee of $32 even if you only are negative by $.85 for a day. Highway robbery.

I cannot get in touch with a human without waiting for 15 to 20 minutes or more. When I do get in ouch with a human, they "accidently" disconnect me. Im about to take my business elsewhere!

First of all, I would like to say how appreciative Kim and I have been over the past several years with the real small-town feel and service of Lake Trust, and have always enjoyed the relationships with all of you. In looking ahead...All too often however, that "same small-town charm" as it is referred to, simply means big-time distancing, and i'm not referring to 6 feet with a mask. I am sad to see another Grand Haven Community business capitulate to big business (ie. to help serve us better) and give way to further beauracary . Instead of a bottom up approach, we are systematically forced to face the endless commercials and music while we pick 1 for account balance, 2 for loan officer ect... and then wait for a customer representative to take our call only to be dropped or forwarded to another representative while being monitored for better customer service. Been there, done that!!! Not sure who makes the decisions, but this is not the best option in my opinion. I give the new remote teller move 1 star only because it will not allow me to give you no star.

Because of coronavirus the office is closed, and this is the ONLY branch in Holland if you have any issues and need to go inside bank they wont do it!! Its a very incovenient and the ATM machines the waiting to get help is more than 30 minutes wait, customers leaves with no money or help tired of waiting on line outside to use the ATM very incovenient!!!

Lake Trust was fantastic during the financing of my truck. Very easy to work with. Specifically, Chelsea Moree. She was extremely friendly and pleasant and made a usually painful process fun and exciting. I love their mobile app as well.

Long term member. Any time I call customer service it's a 25-35 minute hold to reach a person. Every time they say its because they don't have enough employees. Recently moved most of my business and accounts to LAKE MICHIGAN CREDIT UNION. So far they answer the phone Everytime in Under 5 minutes. What a huge difference in customer service. Highly reccomend the change...

Have to disclose: I actually don't use this credit union. I walked into here accidentally yesterday in a tizzy at the end of a long day when I was trying to get to LMCU. The teller was incredibly kind and patient with my frazzled self and offered me a refreshment and then pointed me in the right direction. I wish I caught his name, he was a shining star when I was having a rough time! So thank you, teller guy, and if the rest of the CU is as great as you, I'll soon be banking with you guys!
