I love the store and staff is always polite and professional. I love the variety… but when it comes to selling clothes through your store, I don’t like how things are returned to us. Whatever you don’t buy, you throw it back in the bags like it’s nothing. You expect clothes to clean, folded nicely and ready for sale YET you don’t respect what you don’t buy from customers. I hate when I get it all back and now it all looks like a dog chewed it up and spit it back out. That part I do have a problem with. You can do better. You can put some time into returning things in a professional manner.

Stop in to this place for the 1st time EVER but NEVER again!The young girl explained how it works, I went back to the car got the BRAND NEW with TAGS Mother of the Groom CHIFON pant suit, only to be told they don't do formal! Okay I go back to the car and get a pair of black brand new boots and 2 men's long sleeve crew neck shirts new without tag also, she tells me the leave or comeback spill I stay and look around first ti.e right! Well to my surprise I find something I like on the formal rack of prom dresses with sequence now if that does not scream formal what does either way I am at the counter waiting to pay for my item the people in front of me had lots of stuff and had sold some stuff but I'm in no hurry but as soon as my turn is next the girl that was checking the clothes (the prices I'm assuimng) stops what she is doing and saids next to the 3 people who look like high school or college students and she saids to them so what do you all have plan for the weekend this was so awkward even the kids look behind them Iike is she talking to somebody behind us then she started telling them what she was doing like someone was in townEither way they denied the sale of my items and said they where to Dressy REALLY 2 white long sleeve crew neck t shirts and a pair of new really cute boots, the girl offered me a 2.o00coupon , I told her to keep it I'm never coming back there!! #facts

I have brought clothes to this company numerous times, and I have never had an experience like this. I brought my clothes in 4 hours before the shop closed, and never received a text message saying my clothes were ready to be picked up. I had to call them 30 minutes before close and they still hadn’t looked at them. They told me that they will look through the clothes of those who stay in the store before the clothes of people who choose to leave and come back when they are ready. This would have been great to know when dropping my clothes off. I came into the shop 20 minutes before closing, and I ended up waiting in the store for almost an hour before they were done. I ended up leaving the store 30 minutes after they closed because they chose to look through other people’s clothes that came in after me. I can honestly say, I am so disappointed with this location.

Been here a few times and besides it being pricy at times I've enjoyed it and had good experiences. Until today. I bought a pair of shoes which were "Final Sale" no problem I've purchased shoes here before. But when I got home and took the sticker tag off there were two staples shoved into the bottom of the shoe underneath the sticker. The shoes were a good price so I'm not even upset about the staples it happens. It was the fact that someone consciously put the label over the staples. It felt very deceptive and unprofessional. Plus if I hadn't checked under the label there may be staples in my foot. They clearly did not want whoever bought the shoes to find the staples before purchasing (I assume you can't remove price tags in the store, right?!) I wouldn't have been mad if I knew of the flaw in the store but it was the lowly cover up that earned this review. Check your items closely! Severely disappointed, i took a reusable bag full of clothes, some of them worn like once, I had name brands from Carhartt, Carrie Underwood, Zumie, a spring dress that was in brand new condition and they took nothing because “there was pulling and wear and tear”. All they did was give me a $2 coupon for wasting my time. Mind you, while I waited the 3hr to get my stuff looked through in the store on racks with “only one bag ahead of me” I was able to find multiple items with rips, broken straps, and severe ware and tear, yet my stuff was not in quality…

Recently I came in to Plato’s to sell a Meijer size plastic bag with clothes in it after it took them a hour to go threw the bag and having me ask them is my bag done yet they took 5 items a north face coat and a pair of BKE jeans and 3 shirts from buckle and Nike. They gave me 13 dollars for everything….good job Plato’s for ripping people off I will not be returning to this location ever again…

Normally, I do not have any issues at this location. However, today I brought in 1 medium sized bag of clothes, and was told they'd message me when they were done. Three hours passed and still no text, I ended up going inside to see that they had been done and never messaged. I also called once 2 hours after arriving to ask if it had been finished yet and they said they hadn't even started it yet. Then, they said it'd take like 30 minutes at the most. After 30 minutes passed there was still no message. I probably won't be selling here as much, if I even do again.

They rip you off so bad. Sell your stuff on Facebook marker place or Poshmark before bringing stuff there. I brought in so many name brand purses/clothes/shoes and great condition and they offered me basically my gas money to get there and back. What a joke.
