I have been getting my vision exams at this Wal-Mart center for several years. I have had good costumer service and appreciated my Optomitrist very much, she took timeto explain things to me, never felt rushed. She left the area a year ago, and so today I had the Dr. who has been there over 20 years, he was just as fabulous! Very kind and personable. He took time to explain answers to my questions. Showed me pictures of my eyes and detailed what he saw there. It was very interesting and informative. Very happy with my appointment today. Thank you!

The staff is nice but service is HORRIBLE. I ordered a pair of glasses a MONTH ago. They are still not here. My old glasses are scratched and my prescription changed so I am starting to get headaches seeing through the scratched lens. If you need glasses this is not the place to go.

The staff was nice to a point. Some of the ladies had bad attitudes. The doctor was very nice and she made sure that I was comfortable and happy before she started her evaluation. But the staff in general was OK.

I came to Walmart hoping that the price was right being that money's tight... We came and then the lady came and to asked if we needed help ... All she did was give us attitude . Poor costumer service. The lady acted like a smart Alec and seem mad when we asked questions. I'm thinking to myself, "you came over and asked if we needed help. You volunteered to help us!!!" I felt like I wanted to apologize to her for bringing my service to Walmart (like "sorry if we're bothering you but we need an eye exam"), but we just went with the attitude because it's not worth it to make a fuss. And gave her the benefit of the doubt .
***I'm here to warn you guys though ! This attitude could happen to you!!! You've been warned .
Walmart also discriminate eyes , what I mean is if you have astigmatism your price is going to go from $70-80 (sorry can't remember the price because I didn't want to listen to the attitude) to $90 if you have astigmatism . She stated "because it's a LITTLE more work..." I thought to myself , "Wow ... Isn't that your job to do work ...even if it's a little more?"
I called places like rx optical and they said they do not charge differently based on astigmatism . The price is 80 (without insurance) for BOTH contacts and glasses exam whether you have astigmatism or not!!!
Go to other places for a better customer service and prices for better vision quality than Walmart . I'm not going to take my service here no longer .
Felt sorry for my dad for facing that , because we didn't give any attitude towards her at all ... We didn't do anything wrong. We Walked out calmly(: it's all in the past now.
