Groveland Oaks County Park is located on Stewart Lake just east of I-75. It is a great place to camp, with nice sites, a clean campground, and good facilities. It is the best one for big rigs, offering large modern campsites, cabins, yurts, and group areas. The park features a sandy beach on Stewart Lake, a fishing pier, and good fishing. There are many activities including miniature golf, pedal boat and kayak rental, a bike skills course, a skateboard park, and basketball courts. Several large children’s playscapes and paved trails provide lots of areas to bike and walk. The staff is nice and helpful. It is a dog-friendly park and a fun, family option for reunions and visits.
