There was ample parking. Several handicap spaces. My son spent an hour talking to the benders about their goods. They were friendly. We purchased maple syrup, cheese, chocolate, turnip greens, green peppers and garlic bulbs. We will make it a regular stop.

A interest variety of vendors. Found a knife sharpener, beautiful bird house, herb plants and this amazing cookie spread. But my favorite was the olive oil direct from Greece.

Small but nice selection. Can get lunch to have in the car or at a picnic table, dinner to cook later and dessert for dinner.

It was the most disturbing act of threatening and belittling behavior that I have ever witnessed in public. The manager, Chuck Grinnell, was out of line concerning a service animal. He was uninformed and ignorant of the bi-laws governing service animals and chose to not look at the state of Michigan website or the Americans with Disabilities Act website that the woman with the animal took the time to find and show him. He got in the lady's face, raising his voice and attempted to put his hand on her. Only after the police were called to the farmers market did he finally leave the woman alone but stared and glared at her and her daughter (a vendor at the farmers market). He should be replaced with someone who has the best interest of not only the patrons but the vendors of the farmers market. Someone who is willing to continually educate themselves on the changing regulations of the state and local laws concerning the disabled.

Not a very good selection of fruits or veggies & that lady who was running the dog treat table was rude. We left right away, won’t be going back. Check out the Meridian & Howell’s farmers market, wayyyyy better!
