Got turned away for having a 100 dollar bill when my total was 52 dollars. 11 at night and it's snowing. Thank you shell for being the worst gas station in town with the least competent staff.

Nice place, clean with the exception of the rust stains in the rest rooms . In today's world there is many cleaners that will take care of that. Also the women's toilet seat needs to be replaced.

This was a little disturbing for me. I came in with a half a tank of gas, I needed to fill up get back on the highway, they're pump put in 15 gallons of gas which should only do that if I'm close to being on empty. I do not have a 30-gallon tank... Someone is scamming someone

Why yes I am reviewing a gas station. This one deserves it! This is our go-to gas station for drinks and snacks in town. Service? AMAZING. Each time we've stopped in we've always been welcomed by a smiling face who makes small talk and seems like they love their job. Snacks here are top notch. Nothing is overpriced like other stores or gas stations nearby. This Shell location is clean and offers a large assortment of drinks, snacks, chips, chocolate and candy at a reasonable price that won't make you question why a 2 pack of Reese's is $4. Stop in today!

While the gas station is fine, it's a joke that this is advertised on the freeway, as its 5 miles off the beaten path. At least I ott a beautiful view of Houghton Lake.

Great place . I have lived in Houghton lake most of my life, this gas station I have seen doing more maintenance to their fuel tanks than any other station in town . So I have never had a issue with deluted fuel. And the staff is very friendly . Also being open 24 hours is a nice perk .
