Here’s the thing. I was going to drive 10 hours to buy an RV. I asked Steve to tell me everything he knew about an RV I was looking at. He told me he got it from the bank and it’s got a brand new roof. He knows nothing else.I find out through the smallest amount of research that the entire front had been rebuilt. It wasn’t until I asked about that where he divulged the information that they rebuilt the whole front end. I asked very minimal questions, and every time I did, he got more and more uncomfortable with the conversation.Saying, “I know people like you.” He said that calmly? That’s so incredibly judgmental.Me actually: I’m literally just a person who asks basic questions and wants to feel like someone selling me something actually cares about me. I’m kind. I don’t argue. I’m easy going. I legitimately had the entire value of the thing in my pocket. He told me I wasn’t ready to buy it when I absolutely was. I was the easiest sale of his life and he pushed me away without any hesitation.Even after all of that, I still said I would drive all the way to Michigan from New York to buy it for full price. All I wanted him to do was get on FaceTime (or anything else) with me and walk around it. He told me that he didn’t have the ability and no one he worked with had the ability to do that either...In my lifetime I have never felt like my money mattered less to anyone. He just kept telling me that everyone wants it, not just me. Instead of working with me in any single way, he told me to move on.I can’t imagine a single person that didn’t have something to hide that wouldn’t do the bare minimum of walking outside and showing it to me. It’s 2021, you own a business and you can do a video chat. This person is either the worst salesman alive or this RV was absolutely not worth 20,000 in someway. They also said they just got it in. Car fax said they’ve had it since July. Lying and keeping info away from the buyer is not a good sales tactic. At the very least I can promise you with 100% honestly that my experience was nothing short of uncomfortable and hurtful for me. I felt completely unwanted and completely unwelcomed. Even if you’ve had bad experiences with customers, everyone is different and everyone deserves to feel like they count. This business is the very reason reviews exist. I would 100% not recommend working with them, especially Steve. He’s way more interested in selling something than the person buying it.There really is no “two sides” to that.

Bought a camper 5 years ago. Returning this fall to buy a second one. I like that the sales person didn't follow us around trying to make a sale. They let us just go through the RV/campers, NO PRESSURE.

She will get you into the right camper and help you with any questions you have along the way. The units are up to date and clean. The technician who sets up the camper will walk you through all of the features and answer any questions you might have. This is our 3rd year with Travel Land. No thank you. One star is too much for this place. I would never go to this place for anything. Bob the owner in not someone that you want to work with. Don’t recommend that you use this place for any repairs. If you do contact the insurance adjuster yourself. That way the adjuster will get the truth about what actual damage there was when you brought your RV in. Be sure to take inside and outside pictures of your RV before leaving it. Make the owner sign a paper and give you a copy, saying exactly what the damage is. The owner Bob will use whatever tactic possible to get the insurance to pay. It’s not necessarily the truth though. Take pictures of your RV, inside and out, if you take it there. Show up unannounced soon after dropping it off. Check to see if there’s been any damage done that was not there when you dropped it off. The owner is horrible and not honest and will do anything to make a buck.A few years ago they were going to close. Wish there was an option for no stars. Horrible crooked company. For those of you that left a negative review, be glad you found out how this place is before rather then after.

Horrible place. The owner is not an honest person. Don't let him contact the insurance adjuster fir repairs. Find another place to do your repairs.

** EDIT - Saying you're sorry that we gave a bad review is not apologizing. That is where you admit fault and tell customers you will change the way you handle these situations in the future. **I can see why they have 3 stars. My boyfriend was going to drive over 10 hours (one way) for an RV and pay full price. Steve got flustered with the amount of questions my boyfriend asked and Steve thought he seemed, "too nervous." These were basic questions ie. vehicle history, repairs, tires and water damage. All things you want to know when buying a used RV. Especially when you are traveling to see it.Not to mention, he only divulged that the entire roof was taken off and front window (from water damage) AFTER my boyfriend noticed in the pictures that it wasn't original. He wasn't going to tell him ANY of this beforehand. Shouldn't this be mentioned? Where is the transparency? To be honest, Steve seemed scared that my boyfriend had a lot of history with Class C's. Stay FAR away from this place unless you want to flush thousands of dollars down the drain. If this is how customers are treated before, can you imagine what would happen if we broke down on the way home?Good luck to the girl looking at it in Kansas City and the girl from Delaware. Oh yeah, after he told us he would hold onto it -- he made sure that he mentioned two other people are trying to buy it (several times).
