“We attended a wedding this weekend and stayed at Lakeside Resort. We ate at the bar and grille a total of 4 times. Food was really good. Wait staff was super nice and very accommodating. A couple reasons they didn’t get 5 stars for service and atmospheres, 1) we had to wait about 5 min to be seated one of the 4 times as wait staff kept passing by us. However, they appeared quite busy and it’s possible they were understaffed. No one was just standing around. So, it was forgivable. Atmosphere was pretty good. Some of the outdoor tables (high tops) and chairs were difficult to get seated into. Mind you I’m a little shorter and the pavers made it difficult for me to scootch up to the table. Drinks were made well. Food was hot and seemed fresh. I even had the muscle which I rarely eat unless I’m in a coastal town and they were very good. I beleive the bartenders name was Tammy, older lady, was amazing. So down to earth and did everything she could to make our visit pleasant. I have no reservations recommending them.

We had a Lakeside King room and the view was stunning. Rooms were clean with no “old hotel” smell. Bed was comfortable. I do wish they offered an early check in option. Sadly we didn’t visit the pool but there were many that did and everyone seemed to be very happy. There are plenty of party stores and gas stations in the area as well. The continental breakfast could use a little revamping as there aren’t many options. Only hot option was self made waffles. With that said the two ladies setting it up were a pure joy! Wonderful ladies.
