Pharmacy and store staff are friendly, knowledgeable and even when wait times are long they make sure to communicate that. The store is very clean; great selection & layout; and plenty of parking.

This is my first time writing a review, but the service is absolutely terrible. I understand they're understaffed, but waited on hold for 40 minutes just to get hung-up on. In addition, I waited an hour and a half for a flu shot (4-5:30). We were told it was because they were interviewing someone, but why say those time slots are available then? Use any other pharmacy up here, UP Health, Aspirus, Walmart, ect.

Good selection of first aid products, store well laid out so everything was easy to find. Very helpful staff as well.

I sat in line in the store today for over 15 minutes just to give them my new insurance because no one answers the phone. Now my prescription is done and I have been sitting in the drive through line for TWENTY minutes and not a single car has moved. They are friendly staff but it takes forever to get a script!!!!!

2 hours on the phone for the pharmacy is ridiculous. 1/2 hour with one caller ahead of me. well over 1/2 hour. get to finally talk to someone and they hang up. Whats up with this.

I stood in line for almost 1 hour (3:10 pm until 4:07 pm) today to pick up a prescription. When I was finally waited on, the worker told me that they were out of it (we ordered it last week) and hopefully it would be on tomorrow’s truck. I drove 55 miles one way to pick this medication up and now will need o drive back. In addition, since the store closed unexpectedly at 6 pm today, I hope it will be open tomorrow for prescription pickup.

I personally don’t think they deserve this star. My husband and I were on hold for over two hours only to find out that they closed early while we’ve been waiting for my antibiotics.

I won't repeat my mistake of going here for anything important.
I showed up early for a 9:40 appointment, but I didn't receive my straightforward immunization until 10:25, due entirely to the incompetence of the pharmacy staffers and the carefree attitude of the pharmacist. The excessive wait time derailed the rest of the plans I had for my break from work.
Thanks for valuing your customers' time, Walgreens.

genuinely the most incompetent pharmacy ive ever dealt with. depending on the employee, i get charged for things that i KNOW my insurance covers and has covered multiple times before, making me pay almost 100$ out of pocket and refusing to fix it. they do not answer the phones, for the last week ive been trying to get a hold of someone in the pharmacy only to wait on the phone with “3+ callers ahead of you”. Ive been in person and was told that the lead pharmacist was going to come speak to me about a prescription but to “have a seat and she’ll see you in a few minutes”, i waited over an hour in that chair and finally had to leave because they were about to close for lunch and now im getting multiple calls a day saying my prescriptions are delayed because of insurance but ive spoken with my insurance company and they tell me that theyre waiting on the pharmacy!!! can we hire people that actually know what theyre doing and can do it properly or are we gonna keep having improperly educated cashiers behind the pharmacy counter?? this situation is infuriating for me and many others alike and i dont understand why no true action is being taken.

It takes a week to fill a prescription here. I have to come back several times and call to get it filled. You cannot submit the rx a week early because it is “too soon” to fill so you run out either way. Today I was on hold for over an hour to find out why my rx wasn’t ready. When I scheduled my vaccines for 10 am and showed up at 945 am to give them plenty of time it still took 45 minutes because they intentionally wait until they vaccinate several people at the same time. People don’t want to take an hour off of work for something that takes 15 minutes to do.

Pharmacy has gone way down hill! 30minutw wait and no prescription ready. Come back sitting at drive through window with no help. Just look at me and turn away. No care at all!!! The people that have left were way better. These guys have no idea what they are doing. They wont answer phone either. Sat on the line for over 30minutes and decided to hang up.

On Monday I needed copies made of pictures, the machines had changed some since the last time. Ray, employee at Houghton Walgreens was so very helpful and patient with me, explaining everything. Thank You Ray for your very considerate help.

I found myself in need after coming up here for vacation and forgetting one of my prescriptions at home. The tech was so kind and compassionate and worked with the pharmacist to get me taken care of quickly and back with my family having fun!
