They told me they can’t even print a bank statement because their system is down just ridiculous.

Went in to get something notarized. They initially waved us over and then asked if we are customers which we aren't. We said we would pay whatever the fee is and they refused. Went to incredible bank and they did it free! Incredible lady was very nice!! Will be banking with incredible if I ever move here

The transition from Wells Fargo was handled terribly and it was downhill from there. At one point the atm broke and it took the money from the check I was trying to deposit out twice. This was at the end of the month, so rent was due, and despite it being their mistake they did absolutely nothing to fix it, so had I not had money elsewhere I would have been late. I constantly had problems with them randomly charging fees for no reason. Staff at this particular location have always been friendly, but that doesn't negate all the problems I've had over the years.

Horrible bank. Ever since they switched from wellsfargo they act like they are still in the transition period but it’s been years. They act like they are solving a financial mystery every time You try to do a simple transaction. I cancelled all my accounts (or so they said). They left my credit card open (after assuring me it was closed) It accrued service fees and got sent to collections. These people suck

The surprise transition of Wells Fargo selling its branches to Flagstar was a complete mess. We had no choice in the matter. It was shocking there was extended downtime in online banking during the transition, and there were long lines for weeks at the branch for customers to go in and figure everything out. It also didn't help they consolidated two branches (closed the one downtown). My accounts were converted into semi-similar accounts from WF to FS, but my credit card remained with WF. I couldn't switch credit cards without affecting my credit history and score. I was upset with one of my savings accounts being converted to a savings with the strange ability to write checks out of it. When I tried to change this to a normal account I couldn't at the branch because they apparently needed to run a credit check despite me already having accounts. I explained it wasn't immediately possible to check my credit because my credit was frozen, and the manage gave me an uncomfortable look like I just said I had really bad credit. Serious, this guy is a manager at bank and did not seem to know what a security credit freeze is. I am FINALLY in the process of transferring my money to other banks and closing all of the accounts which has been challenging because I moved downstate and live 100 miles from a branch.

Zero stars. Dealing with a fraud situation on a weekend, unable to reach anyone even at the corporate level (unlike Wells Fargo). Very behind the times.

This bank doesn't even deserve one star. Transferring from Wells Fargo was a nightmare. Finally gave up on trying to log in and found a new bank. I transferred all my auto payments to my new bank and Flagstar still kept charging me. There was no way I could log in to see what they were charging me for or see my balance. Instead of declining my card they charged me a bunch of overdraft fees. Will never bank here again! Sad because their Michigan based too.

I was never a fan of wellsfargo and was even less of a fan when Flagstar took over. I waited nearly 2 months for a banker to be available to help with the issues I was having (online banking and a faulty debit card) without needing to wait forever to see someone as everyone seemed to be having issues. The times I did stop in, I was fully intending on closing out my account I was so frustrated. The only reason I didn't was because the tellers (I don't remember their names) and the banker Jill were outstandingly kind and helpful despite the chaos and them still learning certain things. I also have to give props to the older guy who manned the lobby and kept everything light and friendly when it was extremely busy. Long story short, hate Flagstar but the staff is amazing here in houghton (which is why I wanted to post a review), I hope they're treated well! Thanks again to them!

Staff tries, but the professionalism is mediocre. Had a teller talk over me when they had no command of the subject. Would have been miles ahead had they listened to what I was trying to accomplish instead of yammering on.

The online banking is terrible and the app is literally the online banking website inside of an app (so that is terrible too), they aren't open on Saturday and the transition from Wells Fargo was a disaster. Liked Wells Fargo, hate this. Find somewhere else

Pathetic excuse for a company. Wells Fargo was fine, Flagstar is a joke. Unprepared for the switch with no regard for their customers. They should be embarrassed to consider themselves a reputable compny.

Account got sold even though I no longer live in Michigan, Wells Fargo and Flag Star are both scummy companies. Haven't been happier switching to Ally and recommend anyone still with either do the same.

Transferring from Wells Fargo. Very un-happy. Nothing works. Can't access anything. They knew this transfer was coming for almost a year and still did not get their s*** together. Will be finding a new bank.
